Today, Minister of State @YvanButera visited the Rwanda Medical Supply warehouse construction site. Once complete, the facility will double the country’s storage capacity, strengthening nationwide distribution of essential medicines and health commodities.
Rwanda’s Minister of State for Health, Dr. Yvan Butera, welcomed global delegates and reflected on the country’s journey toward building an efficient, equitable supply chain. He reminded us that we are meeting at a time of global pressure, tight financing, and rising fragility:
“Supply chain fragility is a global challenge that demands a global solution.” Dr Yvan Butera.
He expressed deep appreciation to all partners—RMS Ltd, RBC, the University of Michigan, and many others, whose collaboration and commitment continue to drive the innovation and system strengthening needed to build resilient health supply chains for Africa and the world.
