It’s really bugging me that Idaho (w a less than 3% unemployment rate and $1 cheaper gas) has a so much better booth than the sad and empty Washington (+5% unemployment and biz leaving) because our Democrat Governor choose not to participate in celebrating America! I know it's tempting to say: If you girls would just stand down and refuse to compete, this whole boys in girls sports thing would be fixed.

It's not true.

Many girls have stood down. Not every girl, all at once (which is an impossibility to coordinate across leagues and sports, etc). But I promise you, it's not the end all be all to end this. It's just not.

And it puts all the onus on children. Children who only get a few seasons. To ask them -- all of them -- to give that up . . . because leaders, adults won't do the right thing? It's not right.

We have an Executive Order.

We have the biggest most important and influential sport governing body in the world, the IOC, saying they will protect women's sports.

And we supposedly have 80% (at least) of Americans on the side of girls and women.

And still, here we are.

AB Hernandez won 3 events at CIF prelims over the weekend.

If you really think girls are gonna get done what the President and the IOC cannot . . . you're wrong.

What we need is the leaders of the sports governing bodies to do the right thing. And we need to call on them to do it.

What we need is for the 80% of adults who have the common sense to know that boys should not be in girls' sports to stand up and say ENOUGH. The vast majority of them are still silent.

Make it a non-starter for a coach to field a boy on a girls' team.

Say something, anything. Make this absolutely unacceptable. Because it is.

Girls, if you want to stand down, do it. I support you. So many do. If you compete, and also speak up about the unfairness, I and @xx_xyathletics are here to support you. And so many others.

But the grown ass adults, the professional women athletes, the team owners, the league leaders, the coaches, the parents watching all of this unfold -- STEP UP.

That's who we need to call on.

UPDATE —Referendum Denied by the WA State Supreme Court BUT
Warning TLDR

-today the WA state supreme court ruled that the legislature can prevent the voters from exercising a referendum when the legislature raises taxes
-We believe this is an incorrect and tortured reading of the constitution and inconsistent with the very strong protections placed in the constitution to limit the governments ability to tax
-Nevertheless that is the way the court has ruled So what does that mean? Several important points below:

Supreme Court
1) 5 of 9 supreme court seats will be up for election in November. You need to vote
2) Unlike in past years there are legitimate constitutionally focused challengers to the Bob Ferguson appointees so you will have a choice this year
3) You need to be informed, donate, talk to neighbors about the supreme court

Lawsuit Implications IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
1) Although we lost our case before the supreme court, they issued the following words

“Consistent with the words of the constitution and our unbroken line of precedent, ….“. See the screen shot below

2) These words matter enormously because the supreme court has ruled 7 times that income is property and property may not be taxed above 1% nor may it be applied unevenly to citizens.

3) There is a separate lawsuit challenging the legality of the income tax in the first place and as the supreme court indicates that it is bound by “unbroken” precedent, it would be highly inconsistent and blatantly idealogical for them to deny our petition based on precedent while ignoring much deeper and more widely argued precedent that income is property and therefore 6346 is an illegal tax under the constitution.
