Valve has released official Windows drivers for its new Steam Machine, making it possible to install Windows on the console.

However, there’s one big catch, Installing Windows completely wipes SteamOS, and dual-boot isn’t available yet.

“Installing Windows requires you to wipe your Steam hardware, and dual-boot with SteamOS is not currently available.”

The drivers support important hardware like the AMD graphics, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the SD card reader, so Windows can run properly on the device.

Valve says it’s working on a SteamOS installer with dual-boot support, but it isn’t ready yet. Until then,
