@ukJ0N Farage’s vote went DOWN as a percentage of the electorate. There’s lies, damn lies and statistics. So as a proportion of people eligible to vote in Clacton he is more unpopular than in 2024 (or similar at best).
@TedwynBladey@BritainElects Actually Farage’s vote went DOWN as a percentage of the total electorate compared to 2024… and with no real opposition this points to standing still at best.
@keiranpedley I think the interesting number will be what the raw total (not percentage) that Farage gets. How much higher than he got in 2024 and actually how much more than Carswell got in 2014…
🚨A story beyond the medals. Frank Hardee completed his 74-nation selfie collection after the Commonwealth Games media team picked up the RevSportz feature and helped him connect with the final teams.

@BritainVotesNow Is this because it’s very close between Reform UK and Greens for 2nd and this would be a massive PR victory for either? Labour comfortably ahead…
A London teacher’s mission to collect selfies from all 74 Commonwealth Games nations, a five pence coin with an unexpected story, and a reminder that sport still brings people together in a divided world.

@GoodwinMJ One of our best ever Team GB Athletes (Sir Mo Farah) was a Somali Refugee. Do you deride his contribution to our country. Surely this is something to celebrate.
@Luis_Cook1 I’m hearing the exact opposite. Intern Labour sources are pretty confident of a comfortable win. Every party puts on a last minute ‘we can win push’. But reliable sources on the ground saying it’s fairly comfortable for Labour.
@ElectionMapsUK It’s now ridiculous that the two parties that need to advocate electoral reform are Labour and The Conservatives. As a committed fair votes campaigner - Labour - get on with it. #STV now
