⚔️ The "North" Group of Forces said it continued operations to expand its buffer zone in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, reporting advances and engagements across multiple sectors.

📍 Sumy direction
▪️ Russian forces reported continued advances, claiming progress of up to 700 meters across 21 sectors.
▪️ Fighting was reported near Sumy, Ulanovo, Krasnopillia, Mala Slobodka, Mohrytsia, Nova Sich, Khotin, and other nearby settlements.
▪️ Russian forces also claimed to have repelled several Ukrainian counterattacks.
📍 Kharkiv direction
▪️ Russian forces reported advances of up to 800 meters across 10 sectors in the Vovchansk area.
▪️ Fighting was also reported around Kozacha Lopan, Velykyi Burluk, Petro-Ivanivka, Artilne, Budarky, and nearby forested areas.
▪️ Russia claimed to have captured the village of Artilne and taken three Ukrainian soldiers prisoner.

El reportaje estima que EE.UU. ha recibido alrededor de USD 13.000 millones por exportaciones petroleras venezolanas, sin dar registro público de como se ha utilizado.

Me gustaría añadir, que no todos estos recursos han sido "recibidos". Parte de la historia podría obedecer, simplemente, a rezagos entre las ventas, los cobros y las transferencias. Como decía George Shultz: "Lo que para un economista es un rezago, para un político es una pesadilla."

Precisamente por eso, sería muy importante que se publiquen los informes auditados de KPMG, de manera que el país pueda conocer con claridad el origen, destino y calendario de esos recursos. La transparencia fortalece la credibilidad y evita especulaciones innecesarias.

Ossoff demolishes Hegseth -- then Hegseth has an epic crashout

Sen. Jon Ossoff used Hegseth's premature declarations of victory against him during his Senate testimony, repeatedly reading back statements Hegseth made in March and April about Iran's military being "destroyed" and "obliterated" and asking him if he stands by them.

After Hegseth spent five minutes dodging, Ossoff concluded by noting that "you will not answer whether your statement made on the 14th day of the war that Iran's military was 'destroyed and made combat ineffective' was a truthful statement to the American people as you sit here and ask for tens of billions more."

A reeling Hegseth then crashed out in response to a similar line of questioning from Sen. Gary Peters, snapping at him that "you have Trump derangement syndrome!"

Peters replied to Hegseth that "you, sir, are the failure," as Susan Collins brought the hearing to an abrupt close.
