A question I often get:

“Why do you freely give away sources for the materials you used at the house?”

Material specification is only a tiny sliver of what designing a space entails.

Anyone can source a material, especially now w/ online image search.

Knowing how to combine, lay out, & detail a finish material or fixture takes years of practice & is a professional service.

Having access to a material spec does not ensure that a space is going to look or feel a certain way.

If anything it’s just a starting point.

Some thoughts & observations for ppl in the startup space overlapping design, development or construction:

1. These are very ppl-centric industries. This means they're messy & less data-driven compared to other industries.

We're breathing new life into this corner restaurant in Greenwood Village! The interiors will complement the amazing food offered here, including a Roman-style pizza called #pinsa. More to come on this Italian concept & the story of Oliver's. #design
