A writer, by definition, is a person who writes. If you want to make a living as author I would suggest you also acquire the ability to write non-fiction. The latter may help financially while you are trying to make your way in the tougher alternative.

I know it might seem strange but in writing book 3 of The Twins of Moon trilogy I now dream in the landscape and populations of the trilogy. Some of the characters I invented visit me and have things to say about magic, war and dragons and much else.

I went a bit crazy, creative-wise, and scribbled some 600 pages in a month. It will take me another month to edit and strengthen down to about 300. When done, Book 3 of Twins will exist in first draft.

Here in the UK we suffer the stupidity of having to change the clocks twice a year to accommodate a bright idea from a century or so ago. It's stupid and pathetic with the multiplicity of devices in house and car these days. I get really mad about it.
