Last week, I sat down for a fireside chat at the Emerging Tech Innovation Summit, where I discussed how @Vaulta_ is pioneering Web3 Banking and our vision for integrating blockchain with traditional finance.
Thank you @1871tech for hosting and looking forward to more insightful discussions.
Now called @Vaulta_, the network has rebranded and rebuilt itself to focus on practical finance and compliance-first #blockchain infrastructure. 👉 Partnering with @VirgoCX to launch VirgoPay, a cross-border remittance app using stablecoins (USDT & USDC) to cut fees and deliver near-instant payments.
Vaulta’s rebrand marks a broader evolution in blockchain utility, moving from general-purpose smart contracts to purpose-built financial infrastructure.
In a comprehensive interview with @Binance Square, we explore this transition and share Vaulta’s vision for compliant, composable, and Bitcoin-integrated finance.

From gatekeepers to global access. From closed systems to protocols.
Vaulta is building the rails for this transformation.
Decentralized. Composable. Built for everyone.
@binance Absolutely! The biggest W is always the community that stands behind a project. Whether it's $EOS (now Vaulta) or $XRP, it's the people who keep things moving forward, keeping the energy high. Crypto is nothing without the supporters.

Few people realize how drastically EOS has changed over the past three years.
I've been in frequent discussions with the EOS Foundation recently. Sharing some key facts:
A New Leadership Structure
- The EOS we see today is nothing like the 2017–2021 version.
In 2021, a group of top block producers, led by @yveslarose, took over, replacing @BrendanBlumer and the former leadership at @b1.
- The official EOS Twitter account is now @EOSNetworkFDN, not the old @EOSIO.
The Downfall of EOS Under B1(2017-2021)
- Back in 2017, EOS raised $4 billion, the largest ICO in crypto history, with most funds converted to BTC. Aside from a short-lived boom in EOS Dapps in 2018, little progress has been made since then.
- In June 2019, B1 bought https://t.co/0QJOrXUEVv from @saylor’s MicroStrategy for $30 million, but it never really took off and ended in disappointment.
- In July 2021, B1 launched Bullish, attempting to take it public via SPAC to legitimize its ~$10 billion in Bitcoin holdings. However, the listing ultimately failed due to a class-action lawsuit led by @EOSNetworkFDN.
Vaulta’s Move Into Web3 Banking(2022-now)
- After Yves took over EOS from B1, he rebuilt the foundation and hired several visionary ex-B1 employees, including @bytemaster7 (who has since left).
- Under his leadership, EOS has launched EOS EVM (2023), Spring 1.0 (2024), and @exSatNetwork (2024). Last month, they announced Vaulta, a bold step into Web3 banking.
Vaulta’s Upgrade in May
Vaulta aims to bridge Web2 and Web3 banking eco, positioning itself as "The Financial Network for Web3 Banking."
It’s built on four key pillars:
- Wealth management
- Consumer Payments
- Portfolio management
- Insurance
In May, EOS will officially rebrand to Vaulta and launch the Spring 2.0 hard fork. The EOS token will also undergo a 1:1 swap. All details will be revealed at the Vegas conference in May.
This is an inspiring Community Takeover(CTO) story behind a former $40 billion, top 5 crypto project — I’ll share more soon.
