Now Go and check federal government project under tinubu, the whole of southeast is about 1.5 trillion. While lagos alone is about 3.9 trillion. You see the reason lagos cannot belong to Yorubas alone. Federal government is using our Money to build lagos, so no tribe will clam sole ownership of it. I hope this educate you.

Since then lagos has been receiving special preference till date. Each government that comes and go injects chunk of our money in lagos. Again you people talk about lagos IGR. Lagos IGR was so because of federal government investment there. So the state leverage on them to generate revenue.

I know you will go this route but let me educate you.lagos was FCT of nigeria 1914 - 1991. And all the whole countries infrastructure to make a capital city and economic hub was established in lagos by the federal government. In 1991 when FCT was moved from lagos to abuja, only the FCT was moved to Abuja leaving lagos as Nigerias economic hub.
This was so because major infrastructure has been established in lagos by the federal government to build our economy on.
