Please take a moment to remember Firefighter John Durand. Firefighter Durand died in the line of duty while fighting a brush fire off South Street on April 30th, 1977. Firefighter Durand was 36 yrs old and a 9 veteran of the department. He leaves behind his wife & 4 children.

On Wednesday, our FHS students learned exactly what a Flight Medic and Flight Nurse can do in the back of a helicopter, and also how closely they work with all fire departments!! Thank you to Boston Med Flight for an awesome tour of your facility!🚁🚑🚒
Auto extrication! Thank you to Vendetti Motors for donating a car for a Jaws of Life demo with our FHS Senior Project students! The students were able to see first hand the power of the extrication tolls used in the fire service. Thank you again to Vendetti Motors of Franklin!!🚒
Vacation is over and back to work. On Monday, our FHS students learned a little about engine operations. From tapping a hydrant, running the pump, flowing water from a deck gun, and hanging on to a 2-1/2 inch hose line!! 🚒🚒
