A female SAPS member at Tsakane Police Station slapped a man who arrived at the police station and questioned why they were not helping a woman attempting to open a GBV case.

He found a woman asleep while the officers allegedly refused to assist her.

The female member has not been arrested for GBV for slapping the man and for allegedly beating another woman who was taking the video.

Concerns have been raised by residents regarding the misuse of power by SAPS members at Tsakane and Duduza Police Stations.
