@AskISED hey ISED are you folks able to help a brother out? I’m at my wits end trying to find this rf interference that’s causing a bunch of car fobs to not work.
@BezirganMocha@JyotiGondek Ever been to a hockey game? It’s pretty standard to open with treaty 7 recognition. Very meh post. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
@caboraggly@BrockWarkentin@nenshi I guess my view is anecdotal from working in the core for over a decade and seeing how empty it is compared to pre pandemic.
@BrockWarkentin@nenshi Considering the infrastructure is there I am a bit surprised they aren’t running 4. Ever since Covid I haven’t seen them but the only reason I’ve heard was the lack of ridership. From a top down view it probably looks better having 3 maxed for “maximum efficiency”
@BrockWarkentin@nenshi Lack of ridership, just a guess but even with a 4th car that would only take 1/4-1/3 of passengers from a green line, factor in how often there are delays and it compounds pretty quickly into a crap scenario.
@Bratt_world@TWilsonOttawa I’m more curious if he is a legal gun owner. Restricted firearms are a process and expensive.
I’m guessing that mag and the pistol are from the states.
@JennaACunninham @wannamaker_dale@DanWMcLean Densification needs to be done smartly and the blanket rezoning is lazy. What should have been done is a simplified rezoning approach that has feasibility at the forefront. The city was getting out of doing work. Read that developers are trying to build beyond the new zoning.
@Marty2son@MuhammadKhurram@iluminatibot I would like to have known the fire system in those buildings, where I have worked the stairwells and elevator lobbies are pressurized to keep smoke out. Not to mention exhaust fans turn on to eject smoke.
@LibreGold@olaskyguy@ThoughtsMiz I think the line of thought is how wasteful all that land is. Urban golf courses could be used for housing etc. I have mixed feelings about it all as I enjoy snowboarding. Same issues but it brings me joy.
