@D2Help DJI still looks safer, smaller and more refined.
But Luna Ultra is pulling ahead on creative control: detachable screen, physical zoom button, zoom range, and a gimbal that reportedly rotates close to 290° That matters for solo shooting
@D2Help I’ve slowly moved from Pocket 4P to Luna Ultra.
Luna just looks like the more complete creative system: 8K (image looks better now), detachable screen w mic, Mic Pro bundle, zoom range, Free Flow, and head tracking. Pocket 4P still looks smaller, refined, and safer, so it’s close
@fcthetruth@VizMystechLLC@D2Help If so, they are literally going head-to-head battle with DJi, Price will now set them apart. Which one are you leaning towards?
@DigiTechReviews@Quadro_News This competition is good for us. DJI has the refinement and ecosystem, Insta360 is pushing hard with 8K, the detachable controller, Mic Pro, and a stronger-looking bundle. But price will decide a lot. If either one crosses too far above $799 us $999 cad they risk losing people.
@OttoJulian_@DigiTechReviews@Quadro_News True, but we are readers. Work on your comprehension. I expected better from you since I’ve followed you for years. Drop the sensitive act. See you on YouTube.
@OttoJulian_@DigiTechReviews@Quadro_News A dongle can work, but it is still another part in the chain: another thing to carry, lose, break, or troubleshoot. My point was about cleaner workflow, not whether audio can technically pass through USB-C.
@OttoJulian_@DigiTechReviews@Quadro_News Notice I said proper DEDICATED lav input and not “proper”? Exhibit 1: Mic 2 I don't want to have to use the included dongle.
@DigiTechReviews@Quadro_News Yes, interestingly, I also have the RODE INTERVIEW Pro. I haven't used it since finding a very good adjustable mic handle for both my mic 2 and Insta360 GPS preview Remote with Built-in mic.
@DigiTechReviews@Quadro_News Fair point on USB-C adapter support, but that still doesn’t compare to having a proper dedicated lav input. I have both DJI Mic 2 and Mic 3 for that exact reason: Mic 3 gives me the smaller size, while Mic 2 gives me versatility and proper input options.
