It can still be licenced for engineering and other non-artistic applications.

@victormustar This is very cool, but a lot of it is basically rendering it almost like voxels.
I genuinely love the idea of this but it would be great to have a secondary constraint to reduce part count and consolidate the piles of small blocks into larger pieces without changing the shape.

@yishan The demos aren't particularly beautiful, except in contrast to the slop other models have made to date.
However the gains of much better spatial reasoning and aesthetic sense is smoothing the jagged frontier, i.e. generalising the intelligence.

@DanielW_Kiwi I have two and heaps of free time, they go to sleep at 7 and my wife and I either hang out or we take turns going to events, quiz nights, MTG tournaments, the gym, etc.
We get like 2-3 nights off a week and each get one full day each month on a weekend to do something we want.

Have you eval'd propensity to corrupt or degrad information? I.e. mis-stating facts, ommiting detail, etc?
That's my only concern in using this as a clean up step.
(The Rewriter Agent looks like a good fix, just curious about the base API.)

@__munael @leothecurious Matter of interpretation.. The whole point of the story is that in the limit even truely 'perfect' post scarcity utopia becomes it's own kind of nightmare, but it's not necessarily a doomsday story.

@__tinygrad__ I understand you guys aren't explicitly selling to the midmarket hobbiests, but the 'Usable Parameters on $10k of Hardware' trend is on a hard sigmoid lately.
If any company could bend it upward again, or even just follow the orange forecast, they would get my dollars.

@sudoingX This understates the value of being able to distill to smaller models, run on rented compute for specific tasks, research weights with academic compute, etc.
Also down the line K3 scale models will be run on local compute, we likely will see 1-3T models run at home this decade.

Surely the default path is offensive capabilities reaching actors with incentive to pursue them, so diffusion of defenses seems like the only safe countermeasure?

@Thom_Wolf Many have acknowledged open models are better for security; local execution, open reasoning traces, ability to audit weights, etc.
Similar to Linux being the global standard for IT infra.
Big labs actively fighting against AI for cyber sec just makes open models even more useful.

The rubric is similarity of the problem to the common points of AI solutions:
- Universally quantified conjecture
- Many partial positive results
- Vast but discrete or algebraic candidate space
- Compact exact certificates
- Lack of incentive for exhaustive adversarial search

Given progress in AI finding counterexamples for open conjectures, I decided to map common attributes of positive cases to make a scoring rubric estimating tractability.
I then had a model score noteable open conjectures for their likelyhood to be solved and their prestige.
