Not long to go now until the #LondonLegalWalk - we can’t wait for more of our members to meet each other in the name of a very good cause! If you can’t join us in person donations (link below) are very much appreciated 🏃🏽♀️ https://t.co/zZijkJ68u6
I am not a criminal lawyer. I know virtually nothing about it. But I recognise a policy designed to restrict access to justice when I see one. And I believe people should get properly paid for giving a professional service. I stand with my sisters and brothers of the criminal bar https://t.co/WsI71ua5Q8
Jury’s provide a vital service to our justice system and should be maintained. To say a jury cannot follow a corporate crime trial is insulting. It is the role of those presenting such trials to ensure the jury follow and understand the case.

On hearing that hourly rate for counsel acting for the National Crime Agency is £80 an hour, High Court judge observes they haven’t changed for 20 years and says: ‘You can’t get a plumber in London for less than £180 an hour. Well, you can - a bad one.’
It's #GoodFriday today, so I am going to be a very good boy (even more so than usual). Extra cuddles for all those working today! You're welcome, humans!
