I used to work ~80 hours per week routinely before I had kids. For years.
I can confirm non-parents don’t know what true exhaustion is. Those long hours were nothing compared to the first 6 months looking after a newborn, and nothing compared to what it’s like looking after a newborn + a toddler while also working.
Last night, 2nd quarter specifically, was one of the most egregious displays of flopping and reffing I have ever seen. Actually made me want to turn off a series that had so much potential for a great watch after Game 1.
In which I make the case that Miller Lite is the anecdote to the decadence of a professional class that constantly chases novel gustatory experiences and has come to confuse this empty, hedonistic quest with being cultured.

Think a Rickie major would be No. 1 this year. Rory was great but couldn’t possibly match last year’s vibe. AK shine has faded (no shade, I thought that was incredible, but he hasn’t really backed it up).
Rickie major would unite everyone. Even the woke left
I’ve admittedly been slacking on draft research this year, but to me Carnell Tate kinda feels like Corey Davis? Great at everything, but no true elite traits. High floor, but doesn’t have the ceiling of a top tier WR1.
But would welcome any draftheads telling me how I’m wrong!
One has perfected the art of subtle body movements and tempo. The other is flailing around destroying his hamstrings and ankles.
(I really still like Tyson but it’s simply more fun being on the anti Tyson side of twitter rn)
Problem is I want to see reactions to the previous pick and then I see Shefter or some other nut job with a “zeroing in on” tweet 10 minutes before the next pick
My annual plea to put the phone away and to just enjoy the NFL Draft.
I'm anti pick tipping, and it's got nothing to do with my employers.
Hear me out!
Let’s call it like it is: Michael Bidwell is the “voice” in Arizona pushing for Jeremiyah Love.
Is the Cardinals owner really the kind of guy to meddle with the third overall pick and make his franchise take a player they absolutely do not need?
You bet he is.
A YouTube show consistently is calling out tornadoes that have touched down without a NWS warning. It literally happens multiple times every single time they stream
The National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center did not anticipate a tornado threat for the Kansas City area, prompting concerns among some that ongoing changes to staffing and weather balloon releases at the NWS might be leaving forecasters in the dark about threats. https://t.co/c9gqydUJsL
Check out this NFL 2K5 clip. On the replay of Brett Favre's TD pass to Donald Driver, one of the announcers notes that Favre threw the TD pass off the wrong foot (:53). Crazy attention to detail for a game from over 20 years ago.
