@justicenow_alan@RapidResponse47@POTUS You are still being taxed the same as before. It isn’t until you file your tax return that you can take a deduction of 1/3 of what you made in overtime up to a maximum of $12,500. I say 1/3 because it is only the 1/2 of the time a a half that counts.
@shomaristone I made $6.20 an hour in 1986 (when I was 19 and working FT for a grocery store) and had to have two roommates to live in a $450 per month apartment. No cell phones, no car payment, cable about $15 per month. Tell me how in 2023, anyone can justify $7.25 per hour (I am in NC).
