On this Heroes day, I pay tribute and celebrate the life of Yafesi Musaazi. He was murdered in 1985 during the NRA war, and his remains were not found. His family hoped for a better country. Today, the real heroes have no graves, and their children are political prisoners.

Why is our region being used as a political dumping ground for families and allies of the ruling system or former insiders?

Meanwhile, Baganda with qualifications, integrity, and deep cultural roots are ignored, divided by party colors , or silenced with political crumbs.

2026 is not just an election, it must be a patriotic stand. A stand for dignity. A vote to protect Buganda.

Let’s rise above political colors. Let’s support candidates who are truly rooted in Buganda’s interests, not those planted here to exploit our silence.

Our ancestors fought to preserve this land. Our children will judge us if we let this kamanyiro go unchecked.
