@uTobian I believe that fascism starts at the top. If we can agree that we live in a corporate fascist country, then it becomes obvious that all propaganda pushed forward in schools and in media will have a bias towards it.
@ericweinstein Interesting that you don’t get Fripp. There’s so much to pull from. One way in might be Daryl Hall’s incredible solo album that he did with Fripp, “Sacred Songs.” As for Holdsworth, have you ever hear the first UK album? Or this banger? https://t.co/0vxUGl9fy8
@ChrisMartzWX To be fair, those same billionaires lobby for regulations that only they can afford to adhere to, effectively shutting out upstarts. If we moved away from the corporate fascism we live under and actually became capitalist, that would be great.
@ChrisMartzWX Teddy Rosevelt will always be my favorite. The man made real, lasting change. Well, until we decided to bring back monopolies but oh well.
@ChildrensHD Covid was my wake up call. Before this, I despised “antivaxxers” and I couldn’t understand how anyone would want to stop something that has been so important to society. Feeling the backlash for being skeptical of the mRNA products got me asking questions about all of it.
@bergramo@MidwesternDoc@kassiekitson I love reframing it this way. Much like focusing on pollution instead of climate change would make a lot more sense and draw in a many more people.
@shellenberger The real problem is that whomever takes power suddenly loves censorship. If only their once free speech loving bases would call them out for it.
@ChrisMartzWX They do such a good job of memory-holing these old predictions. Thank you for posting these because it will absolutely wake a few people up.
@RWMaloneMD It’s heartbreaking because there is so much more to do and it feels like the best chance was stopped its tracks. My hope is that the voting bloc remains strong and true to its core tenets despite the numerous attempts to co-opt it like The Tea Party and Occupy Wall St.
@DrSuzanneH7 At this point in GA they are almost in season but I order from Northwest Wild Foods when they are not. It’s not perfect, but I’ll take it. There are farmers here who grow berries and freeze them and I get those most of the time.
