@henry_benn51461@OsherFeldman@Barnaby_Joyce@sunriseon7 I’m not sure if you’re joking or if this a very old statement because the current government is far from responsible & the only thing they’re charging is Australian citizens. 🤷♂️
@bouta_nt@Oscarthefarmer So do we normally, been waiting & couple of weeks for our last order. Still no update on when it’s likely to arrive or what price it will be. Our last order went up 85 cents a litre from when it was ordered to when it was actually delivered. Interesting times ahead.
@breaker0ne9 It could start with collecting tax from the correct places. I pay plenty of tax, I’m just not a fan of paying tax that we should never pay in the first place & then wait up to 3 months to claim it back.
Even worse most people think it’s a subsidy for farmers,
very misleading.
Well thanks for not much Albo & team.
Yesterday I could pay $3.29 for diesel on farm if it was available.
Then I could claim 52.6 cents per litre road tax back because it’s not going to be used on road effectively making it $2.74 per litre.
@rosmci I’m not a fan of most of them at the moment but if you tell everyone that you’ve reduced the cost of fuel by 26.3 cents a litre that sounds great. In reality it hasn’t reduced fuel prices for me apart from a bit of interest & GST on the initial purchase.
@breaker0ne9 Yes I will mind, we should never pay the 52.6 cents a litre in the first place. We give the Government an extra 52.6 cents a litre to use for up to 3 months before we can claim it back. It’s a significant slush fund to help them balance the books. 🤷♂️
@nosheepfool @TonyHWindsor We won’t need add blue once we all convert to the electric fantasy. The problem is that no one’s worked out where all this electricity is coming from without Nuclear being a major contributor. Not sure if politicians are 20 years behind or ahead, but certainly not in the now. 🤷♂️
But by April 1st diesel will be $3.49 as it’s been increasing 10 cents per litre for the past 16 days.
Halving the fuel excise by 26.3 cents now makes it $3.227.
I can now claim a further 26.3 cents so now we only pay $2.964. This cut only helps those that can’t claim the excise.
@sussanley@sussanley We don’t need continuous reminders about the failings of the Labor party, we’ve all been living it in real time.
What we need is an alternative government with a vision that has long term beneficial impacts. A plan with costed policy’s we can afford and support.
