Well folks, we are FINALLY here in #November. After months of incessant commercials, mail, YouTube ads, and rallies across the nation, we are a few days away from finding out who the 47th President of the United States will be. Whoever ends up in the White House will greatly influence the political landscape, not just for four years, but for the next generations. We CANNOT and SHOULD NOT take that lightly.
We will either have the first female president in the person of current vice president #KamalaHarris or a comeback by former president #DonaldTrump. I can't deny that I am nervous about the next four years. I am thinking about the economy, the environment, our children's education, and human rights. I truly believe that this time, we are standing at the precipice. In my personal opinion, it will be a rough four years under Harris or Trump, which is why I proudly voted Independent.
As Americans, you have the right to vote for whoever you want, but please keep in mind we are still dealing with inflation, we have two wars overseas, quality education for our kids is in jeopardy, human rights are under attack, and climate change is a real threat to our environment (as we saw with Hurricanes Helene and Milton).
See you on Tuesday. #Election2024
#AmericaFirst math:
246 years of slavery>
12 years of Reconstruction
88 years of Jim Crow segregation>
50 years of civil rights and voting rights
0 reparations
The math has NEVER mathed.
