The Hidden Danger of “Vibe Coding”: Are You Building the Future or a Mountain of Tech Debt?
“Vibe Coding” feels amazing. You describe what you want, and AI spits out working code instantly. It’s like handing a child a credit card—pure joy upfront, but someone will have to pay the bill.
This new era of coding by vibes can be fun and productive—but it’s also dangerous when used unchecked.
To be fair, Vibe Coding shines for quick prototypes, one-off scripts, and creative exploration. But what happens when these scripts evolve into real systems?
Without a clear understanding of the generated code, teams quickly accumulate tech debt—code that “works” but is fragile, opaque, and nearly impossible to maintain. The result? Legacy code… created yesterday.
🛠️ How TENUM Bridges ProCode and VibeCode
TENUM is where VibeCoders and ProCoders meet—without chaos.
Our structured abstraction enforces clean architecture, scalability, and modularity, even when code is AI-generated.
VibeCoders can move fast. ProCoders can maintain control. And enterprises get robust, collaborative software built to last.
With TENUM, speed doesn't come at the cost of sustainability.
It’s not either/or—it’s both: pro-level code with vibe-level velocity.

Ever wondered what's stopping developers from shipping faster? We asked 100 developers that exact question. Let's dive in THREAD 🧵
1/ Codebase issues are a major obstacle. An ex-Microsoft engineer, mentions mysterious bugs in libraries that slow things down. An dev at Amazon, points to a complicated, poorly documented codebase.
2/ Process is another culprit. Some developers endure tedious QA loops, waiting for spec approval and stakeholder sign-offs. This can lead to a frustratingly slow development cycle.
3/ Test-related problems are a common theme. A fintech SWE, talks about the time-consuming task of writing ad-hoc tests due to lack of E2E testing. In contrast, bad tests clog up the CI/CD pipeline and take up unnecessary time.
4/ Tooling is another oft-cited issue. Particularly, slow deployment/build speed. Another dev says it can take 3-4 hours for a full build to complete. Even a small change, like modifying a filename, can be tedious.
5/ The role of people was also underlined. Engineers waiting for PR reviews see this as a secondary responsibility, often leading to delays.
6/ Overreaching PR reviews also eat up time. One engineer described meticulous scrutiny of even minor flaws during code review as a barrier to shipping code faster.
It's not as simple as it seems. Let's continue the conversation and find ways to help developers ship faster! At TENUM we do just that. TENUM is 100% serverless and infrastructure free development. Check it out at https://t.co/fxhzwyGCrp 🚀

🚀 TENUM Beta is Live 🚀
Two weeks ago, we quietly softlaunched the beta of TENUM – and today, we’re finally ready to say it out loud: TENUM is out in the open.
We’re beyond excited to share this moment. We’ve already onboarded our first users, received incredibly thoughtful feedback, and started seeing Lua developers build fullstack apps on TENUM. 🙌
To be honest: it took us much longer to get this complex technology into the world than we had planned. Building a platform that lets you develop complex fullstack serverless Apps with a DevOps-free architecture was no small feat.
This has been years in the making. And we want to thank our investors, supporters, and everyone who believed in us along the way. You helped us stay on course when things got hard. And hard it got. 🙏 🙏
Now, with TENUM in beta and the feedback loop finally open, we’re hoping to grow from here. First and foremost, we want to connect with the Lua developer community. Your insights, experience, and curiosity are key to what comes next.
We know this is just the beginning. Building the software stack for the agentic age won’t happen overnight. But for us this is a huge milestone.
Everything that happened was already such a big learning and incredibly inspiring, giving true meaning to the phrase "the journey is the goal". Thanks to the greatest team I had the honour to work with 🫶 🙏

We just launched a tiny app to help people learn Lua 👉 https://t.co/2TkndCTW9P
It's called Luans — inspired by Kotlin Koans. Solve failing unit tests to learn Lua, step by step.
Still early days, so we’d love feedback from the #Lua community! 🙏
#LuaLang#LearnToCode
We're building something big with Lua: Tenum is a 100% serverless full-stack platform where you write both frontend & backend in Lua—with a React-like UI framework and zero DevOps.
Your app runs instantly, scales infinitely, and lives at https://t.co/8iz5Lm00Un.
#Lua#Startup
You’ve mastered #Lua. You’re ready to ship real-time, full-stack apps.
But every journey stalls at the same gate: provisioning servers, configuring databases, setting up auth, optimizing queries... just to get a “Hello World” in production.

That's the first app i've built on Tenum 🎉
Here's what I made after just 1 hour of coding last Saturday 💻 A little blog post app to store my ideas.
What's crazy is that I haven't coded in over 10 years, and I have to say, I'm pretty proud of the result.

The AI bubble is probably huge. While AI is massive and here to stay, it will take a long time until mass adoption will reflect the current investments. Real world applications take time to develop. #ArtificialIntelligence#startups
Understanding common sense remains a huge challenge in #ArtificialIntelligence. Recent research suggests that human common sense is rooted in basic capacities shared with many animals 🐒, such as understanding objects, space, and causality. https://t.co/oCWsduJDp6
@ylecun We need to go a long way until all the misconceptions of what AGI is and isn't have been cleared in the publics min. Until then it is either a great sales tool, scary story or utopia.
It's only been 1 day since Apple launched Vision Pro, and people are going crazy over it.

He traded the stage for trenches so that millions of people would never lose their free lives to authoritarianism.
Eternal glory!
