@TheCanadian851 @thereds8 Like I said there is the law and then there is how things actually work and Provincial governments frequently apply pressure if there is political pressure. Since when has the Canadian government actually followed the letter of the law? π€£ππ€£π Like never.
@TheCanadian851 @thereds8 Federal but the Provincial government has say and they apply pressure. There is the law and then there is how things actually work.
This case where this crackhead guy kept coming on the property he used to live at and was evicted. He kept coming back and getting arrested. Then one time the guy comes back with a bat and the homeowner shot him with a shootgun and there was a hige uproar and the government got involved and no charges were filed.
@BowTiedMara Thank you. So the bankers must have been making a mint on the arbitrage between Peso's and Dollars. Basically ripping people off. Now they are protesting that they can't rip anyone off. They have no shame. π€£ππ€£ππ€£
Alberta is not doing that anymore. There was a case where some guy went on another guys property and got hit with a 22 ricochet and was charged. Huge public outcry and they changed the laws after that. Alberta is different. If you go on rural land making problems and get shot it's on you. No charges.
