Our Founding Fathers risked everything to defend America's freedom. Today, have we become so comfortable that we've forgotten their sacrifice? Would we stand against tyranny, corruption, and foreign threats? Freedom isn't guaranteed. It takes courage to preserve it.
Mary, you're overlooking what actually happened. This was an 11-year-old boy physically hitting an adult, showing disrespect, and then screaming, cursing, and calling him a bigot after the adult pushed him away.
My criticism was about the child's behavior and the importance of parental guidance. Children need to be taught respect, accountability, and how to handle disagreements without resorting to aggression.
You can disagree with my prediction about his political views, but that doesn't erase the behavior I was addressing.
If you're concerned about hateful language, why aren't you equally concerned about an 11-year-old physically attacking someone and using insults instead of words?
Disagreement is not bigotry, and calling someone a bigot doesn't automatically make them one.
Priscilla, I never claimed “libtard” wasn't insulting. My argument is about double standards. If that word is unacceptable, then so is casually calling conservatives bigots, racists, fascists, or Nazis simply for disagreeing. You can't demand respect while excusing insults from your own side. And calling my argument “ignorant” doesn't actually refute it.
So it's hateful to call someone a “libtard,” but perfectly acceptable when liberals label conservatives as bigots, racists, fascists, or Nazis simply for disagreeing with them?
What about Christians and Jews who face ridicule or hostility for their beliefs?
You can't condemn offensive labels when they're directed at your political side while excusing similar behavior from your own.
If your argument is that name-calling is wrong, then apply that standard equally. Otherwise, you're demonstrating the very double standard you're criticizing.
Your logic is flawed because you're condemning the behavior, not the principle behind it.
Praying for the families grieving in Krakow, the wounded, and the officers who rushed toward danger to protect others.
May God comfort those mourning and bring healing to those fighting for their lives.

This was the moment the shooting started in Krakow.
It took a good 20 seconds or so before people started running as the average Pole has never heard gunshots and the idea of a terror attack is practically incomprehensible in Poland
@catturd2 An unnamed observer isn't confirmation of a nuclear strike. A prediction about a decision isn't a prediction that bombs will fall. Those distinctions matter.
Brian, you're missing the point. I never claimed Republicans were innocent. I condemn January 6, just as I condemn the riots, arson, and destruction during 2020.
But here's the difference: I can criticize violence on both sides without making excuses for either. Can you?
Listing crimes committed by right-wing extremists doesn't erase violence committed by left-wing extremists. And blaming an entire political party for individual criminals is dishonest.
If you want accountability, let's apply it equally. Political violence is wrong regardless of who commits it. That's not hypocrisy. That's consistency.
@WoodBrenda48812@bilanna56@roqsfight Oh you mean copying and pasting a definition so I can educate people on the proper meaning. I can tell how uneducated you are.
Oh no people stormed the capital after he told them to be good. How dare he. What about all the states that were burned by democrats 🤔 o wait we don't talk about that. 1 situation vs hundreds hmmm what one is worse? What else did he do bad? Lets hear it. Your logic doesn't add up...
