"I am in daily touch with my friends, family and my students. We are still engaged in remote studying -this is the resilience of the Palestinians to stand again, despite all the sorrow and the pain"
Ihab Naser, Dean of Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Al-Azhar University Gaza
"Now Julian is free, we have all come to Rome to express our family’s gratitude for the Pope’s support during Julian’s persecution. Our children and I had the honor of meeting Pope Francis in June 2023 to discuss how to free Julian from Belmarsh prison. Francis wrote to Julian in prison and even proposed to grant him asylum at the Vatican." - Stella Assange
It was 1* May 2015 and it was at Alexanderplatz in Berlin, exactly 10 years ago I presented to the world. Assange is free, but freedom of expression and our right to know is constantly under attack.
The real enemy is always the truth.
Esattamente 9 anni fa, incontravo Julian Assange.

Here’s what actual journalism looks like:
@declassifiedUK asked Sir Keir Starmer’s Chief of the Defence Staff Admiral Sir Tony Radakin why the RAF and the British military are spying for Israel
"Do you have concerns about sharing intelligence with the prime minister of a country that's wanted by the International Criminal Court?"
Once again, another obvious question asked by independent media, but not mainstream media
Stop calling it a war.
There’s no Palestinian army, navy, or air force ,just civilians being butchered.
Israel is wiping out a people and stealing their land.
This is ethnic cleansing, nothing less....
(John Mearsheimer)
Palestinians are not “facing” starvation.
They are being starved to death by Israel.
Yet our government still refuses to end all arms sales and implement sanctions, granting endless impunity for Israel's crimes against humanity.
End the blockade — and stop the genocide.
Brazilian President Lula met with Julian Assange in Rome.
"I am very happy to see that Assange is healthy and rebuilding his family and professional life. He is an example for all who act in defense of the freedom of the press and human rights".
#PardonAssange
As World Press Freedom Day approaches on May 3, we honour the steadfast allies, like Pope Francis, who stood by Julian through years of unimaginable hardship. Yet, our hearts ache as Julian, though reunited with his beloved Stella and their children Gabriel and Max, remains shackled by the absence of a pardon. Without it, he is not truly free to work, to provide for his family, or to rebuild the life stolen from him. We will continue our campaign to secure a Pardon from President Trump.
Looking ahead to May, the Assange Campaign will be taking bold new steps to defend and advance the rights that Julian and his case represent—freedom of communication and access to information. We greatly look forward to sharing more with you soon.
In solidarity,

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva @LulaOficial of Brazil - “Last Friday (25th April), I met with journalist and programmer Julian Assange in Rome. We discussed Pope Francis’ commitment to the cause of freedom of expression and the defence of democracy.
It was after the audience granted by the Pope to Assange’s wife and children in 2023 that the campaign for the journalist’s release gained new momentum.
I was very happy to see that Assange is in good health and is rebuilding his family and professional life. He is an example for all who work to defend freedom of the press and human rights.”

Very Important update from Julian #Assange’s brother:
