Iran's latest attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz mark yet another dangerous but deliberate escalation that threatens global trade and regional security. Such belligerent attacks reinforce a troubling pattern: years of Western appeasement and failed diplomacy have emboldened Tehran rather than moderated its behaviour.

For decades, Iran has been repressing Baloch, Ahwazi Arabs, Azerbaijani Turks, and other subjugated nations. Now, its aggression is increasingly directed beyond its stolen and occupied lands - towards Gulf states and the usurpation of the Strait of Hormuz, to expand its occupation even further.

The Trump administration should have boldly confronted Tehran's destabilising behaviour much earlier instead of repeatedly pursuing deals that failed to change its conduct. Delayed action has only made the challenge more difficult. Since the signing of the MOU between the US and Iran, 40 Baloch have been disappeared and murdered. If the US had coordinated and helped the nations occupied by Iran, rather than ordering the subjugated nations to start defending themselves, then they would have been more successful in ending the Mullahs' regime. It is still not too late to contain the Iranian regime, and the easiest way is to support and empower the occupied nations to regain their freedom. Once Balochistan, Kurdistan, Al-Ahwaz and South Azerbaijan are Independent, the Persian hegemony and bullying will cease to exist.

America needs to understand the regional intricacies and the systematic colonisation of other nations by the Persians. If they support the right to statehood of the occupied Baloch, Kurd and Ahwazi Arab nations properly, it would streamline tranquility in the region for the foreseeable future. Then you will have peaceful nations living on the north side of the Strait of Hormuz, in the same way that the Gulf states on the southern side are peaceful, and they don’t wage wars. As long as Iran continues to occupy the many nations and steal their natural resources and wealth to fuel their own agenda, the tensions will remain. If the nations on the north were independent states, the situation would improve. The best way to go, is for these nations to run themselves, then there would be no wild ambitions of regional bullying and world domination, and no devious “axis of resistance”.

The recent Pakistani airstrike on a rehabilitation Hospital in Kabul resulting in the slaughter of 400 unarmed Afghan civilians and more than 250 were injured, is another grim reminder of Pakistan’s lies and propaganda, self-proclaimed defender of the Muslim world. I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved and pray for the swift and full recovery of all those who have been injured. I condemn this heinous crime against humanity committed by Pakistan. It is a continuation of the Pakistani Punjabi expansionist agenda. The deliberate destabilisation of Afghanistan through state-sponsored violence and its barbaric attacks on innocent civilians and critical infrastructure must be defeated with unity.

As neighbouring nations, the people of Balochistan and Afghanistan have shared a deep-rooted bond long before the artificial creation of Pakistan. Our histories, cultures, traditions, and borders are intertwined, built on trust and mutual respect. In times of hardship, the people of Afghanistan stood as trusted allies with the Baloch nation and we have always reciprocated that solidarity in their times of need.

Today, once again, Pakistan’s occupying forces continue their anti-Afghan aggression through air force and drone strikes, exploiting territories that rightfully belong to the Baloch and Pashtun peoples. This illegal occupation has been the primary source of instability in Afghanistan created by Pakistan. We firmly believe that lasting peace in Afghanistan will only be achieved when these occupying forces are expelled from our lands, sea, and airspace.

The Baloch nation reiterates its unwavering support for the people of Afghanistan. We stand shoulder to shoulder against Pakistani Punjabi aggression. A future of peace and prosperity lies in cooperation between our two nations. A sovereign, united Balochistan will ensure that its ports serve as gateways of opportunity, welcoming Afghan trade and enabling access to regional and global markets, including those in Central Asia and Europe.

Pakistan has consistently demonstrated that it has no genuine interest in peaceful relations with Afghanistan, regardless of who governs Kabul. Its expansionist ambitions and anti-Afghan policies have acted as a destabilising force, Pakistan is a cancer upon regional peace.

This is a defining moment. Both nations must unite, to defend our territories, protect our economic interests, preserve our shared cultural heritage, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. Together, through unity and determination, we can confront and overcome the forces that threaten our sovereignty and regional stability.

Pakistan has attacked Afghanistan without any reason, but when the Afghans retaliate they get asked what kind of Muslims they are to attack other Muslims in the month of Ramadan. They don't remember what they did on the fifth day of Ramadan, February 22nd, 2026: they attacked Afghanistan. Some Pakistani scholars and politicians claim that the Afghans are not even Muslims. They forget one historical fact: who converted the Punjabis to Islam? No need to further elaborate.

Punjab, the land that has served every invader over the past eight hundred years, welcomed them with flowers and has been instrumental and had played a crucial role in helping the invaders conquer nations in the Subcontinent and South Central Asia. Now they claim to be the defenders of Islam, but what about the tens of thousands of Baloch and Pashtun extrajudicial murders by the same pious Pakistani-Punjabi army?

After Afghanistan's foreign minister's official visit to India, they were labelled as proxies of India according to Pakistan. Even this one little visit cannot be digested by the Pakistani elite as they think Afghanistan is their backyard and they have the sole right to make decisions for the Afghan people. Reality check: Afghanistan is an independent state and it can have relations with any state it chooses. Yet, Pakistan has been going around all over the world for the past eight decades, with their begging bowl, and serving its foreign masters' interests, whilst still claiming to be the only defender of the Muslim world and proxy to none.
It's rich coming from a nation called Pakistan, a world-renowned international beggar. Nobody within the borders of Pakistan is standing with them, only the Mehajer and Pakistani-Punjabis benefit from this artificial state created by the British.

We the Baloch stand with Afghanistan because we have been all-season friends for centuries and have defended each other. Nothing has changed. We condemn the Pakistani aggression against the Afghan people.

Pakistan has repeatedly carried out unprovoked airstrikes and drone attacks against Afghan civilians, flagrantly violating international laws. The international community’s silence in the face of Pakistan’s repeated onslaught on both Afghanistan and Balochistan amounts to complicity. This inaction has effectively given Pakistan a free hand to continue disregarding the sanctity of International conventions and the rights of both the Afghan and Baloch peoples.
If the world had not remained silent when Pakistan occupied Afghan territories under the so-called Durand Line, a forced dismemberment of Afghanistan and Balochistan by the British Empire had not been perpetrated, the situation would have been different today the region would not be facing today's geopolitical catastrophe
The Afghan people and their historians argue that Abdul Rahman Khan never consented to and did not sign this agreement. The Afghan nation has consistently rejected its validity over the past century through multiple collective decisions of the grand council (Loya Jirga). Yet, Pakistan persists in claiming Afghanistan as its so-called “fifth province.”
Additionally, Pakistan has illegally and forcibly occupied Balochistan, where it continues to commit war crimes against the Baloch people. Afghanistan and Balochistan must unite in resistance against Pakistan’s aggression and its territorial violations of their homelands.
Throughout history, the Baloch and Afghan peoples have stood together against foreign invaders. For example, the Baloch put up a stiff resistance and hindered the British from attacking Afghanistan through the Bolan Pass in Balochistan, which led to the British assault on multiple Baloch cities and tribes and on Kalat Fort which resulted in the martyrdom of Baloch ruler Khan Mehrab Khan and heavy losses on both sides, British and the defenders of Balochistan.
The Baloch have a proud history of resistance. In 1709 Baloch warriors rose up and stood shoulder to shoulder in support of Mirwais Khan Hotak in his struggle for independence from the Persian Safavids. The Baloch played a decisive role in at least three significant battles that turned the tables and led to the defeat of the Persians, including the Battle of Gulnabad, the Siege of Isfahan in 1702, and the Battle of Khabis, where the Baloch, using hit-and-run tactics, wore down the Persians and broke their morale. Subsequently, the Persians surrendered to Afghan aspirations.
It is time for the Afghan and Baloch peoples to once again unite in resistance against the Punjabi hegemony over Balochistan and Afghanistan. Together, we must defeat Pakistan’s ambitions to occupy either Afghanistan or Balochistan.
A free Balochistan will have no reason to quarrel with its neighbours, especially Afghanistan and India. After India and Pakistan's recent conflict in May 2025, Pakistan closed its airspace to Indian international flights (which is mostly Balochistan's airspace), causing almost a billion dollars in losses in the past ten months. A free Balochistan will not close its airspace to its neighbours just for the sake of being a bully. The Baloch will not permit Pakistan to use their airspace or land to launch attacks against their neighbouring nation, Afghanistan.
Once Balochistan becomes independent, Punjab will be landlocked and will have no choice but to rejoin its motherland, India. Currently, the Punjabi army survives by exploiting Balochistan’s stolen resources and trying to deceive international investors by showcasing these resources as their own.
Recently, the OIC, Arab and Muslim governments have condemned remarks made by the US Ambassador to Israel who suggested 'Israel would be justified in taking over a vast stretch of the Middle East on Biblical grounds'. But surprisingly, the OIC and these Muslim states remain hypocritically silent about the occupation of Balochistan and Kurdistan and forced mass displacement and killings of these two nations by Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Syria and Iraq

The Punjabi army and the elites' ever-changing hypocrisy has once again been exposed. They initially tried to fool their people and the world by claiming they were fighting communist Baloch, supported by the Soviet Union. When this narrative failed, they created the myth of "Three sardars", portraying them as the only troublemakers who are asking for independence of Balochistan. After the sardar drama created by Pakistan miserably flopped now that tens of thousands of baloch youth have joined the independence struggle and millions of Baloch people are openly asking for an independent Balochistan, has shell-shocked the Punjabi military and the elite who are now trying to create a new, fallacious narrative against the Baloch, anyone asking for independence of Balochistan are being called paid agents of India, This Pakistani lie has a short shelf life.

Similar lies have been spewed by the Persian occupiers of Balochistan, These deceitful titles and lies are nothing but a reflection of Punjabi and Iranian hypocrisy and frustration over losing control of Balochistan. The people of Iranian-occupied Balochistan (IOB) and Pakistani
Occupied Balochistan (POB) must unite and strengthen the freedom struggle, the days of Iranian and Punjabi occupation of Balochistan are numbered.

Throughout the centuries, the Afghans have stood by the Baloch during their difficult times, either by giving the Baloch refugee or coming to their aid. And the Baloch have always done the same: when the Afghans fought their independence war against the Persian occupation, the Baloch were fighting beside them. The Baloch were also their allies during the entirety of their endeavours in the subcontinent. We, the Baloch and Afghans, have always cooperated and shared mutual respect for one another.

The unprovoked attack on Kabul and on the so-called border "Durand Line" created by the British, which is recognised by neither the Baloch nor the Afghans, only benefits Pakistan (a puppet of the British Empire.)

And whenever disputes occurs, Pakistan uses the transit trade-route as a leverage, and denies the Afghans access - the trade route that travels wholly through Balochistan, not Punjab. Independent Balochistan will make agreements not to exploit the transit trade route, and instead resolve our disagreements through peaceful dialogue.

For centuries, the Baloch and Afghan nations have stood by and supported each other, and still nothing has changed: we stand by the Afghans against the Punjabi aggression.

At the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, in Doha, Pakistan and Iran condemned Israel for its attacks and gave lectures on sovereignty. Yet, ironically, these are the very occupier states that deny sovereignty to millions of Baloch, Kurds, Pashtuns, Azeris and the people of Al-Ahwaz, living under their occupation.

Inside the OIC, these 'Muslim' members such as Turkey, Pakistan and Iran never miss the opportunity to an outcry against genocide or to loudly champion Palestine and Kashmir. Yet, when it comes to Balochistan and Kurdistan, the silence is deafening. The enforced disappearances, executions, military crackdown, cultural erasure - none of which makes it onto the OICs agenda or under their scrutiny. These Arab Gulf and Muslim states are investing millions into the British created state 'Project Pakistan', which only intensifies the brutalities of the oppressed people.

The hypocrisy is unacceptable.The Arab league, GCC and OIC platforms that parade as defenders of justice are nothing more than hollow stages for selective outrage. Qatar is only three million in population, and the whole Muslim nation comes together in support against the Israeli strike. Petrodollars does wonders. All the while, there are 50 million Kurds, around 30 million Pashtuns under Pakistani occupation, and over 25 million Azeris. Justice cannot be selective. Until the aspirations of these occupied nations are heard, the OIC will remain a tool of regimes, not a voice of the people.

The Pakistani PM spoke on creating a Muslim task force to defend Muslim nations, but the real oppressors of Muslims are other Muslims; Pakistan tried to colonise Afghanistan and fueled a civil war for three decades. Mark my words: this 'task force' will never be used to defend the interests of Muslim people, it will only exist to defend Muslim regimes - and it will only enable occupier Muslims to further subjugate the oppressed Muslims, continue plundering their lands and destroying their identity.

Pakistan presiding over the UN security council for the month of July is a profound affront to global human rights. A state that's involved in war crimes and grave abuses in occupied Balochistan, is the one that has openly threatened the world by exporting terrorism and jihad, is now lecturing on peace, stability and peaceful conflict resolutions? The same state that is not only preaching hatred, but even practicing it in Kashmir, and against other religions. A patron for the people forcing minority religious groups, in Pakistan, into converting.

The permanent representative of Pakistan in the UN said they would resolve world issues and global disagreements through diplomacy.

This is the same country that fueled decades of bloodshed in Afghanistan, slaughtered and humiliated millions of Bengalis in the 1970s, and, under General Zai-ul-haq, who was a brigadier then, murdered thousands of Palestinians in Jordan. The very country that has killed and disappeared hundreds of thousands of Baloch since occupying Balochistan in 1948 and illegally annexing it to Pakistan by violating Article 2 of the UN Charter.

When Prince Abdul Kareem, the younger brother of the Khan of Kalat, was asked to negotiate with Pakistan, and was instead imprisoned for 17 years, or how you offered the Baloch leader Nawab Nauroz Khan to come down from his mountain strongholds and negotiate, and then hung his companions and sons and he, a man in his nineties, died in prison.
You took oath on the Quran both times to negotiate, not prosecute, then publicly desecrated the sanctity of the Quran, twice.

When the accused are handed the gavel, international credibility erodes. Accountability must never be replaced with privilege.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman recently stated that any attack on Iran is an attack on the whole region, urging "Muslim Arab brothers and sisters" to speak out against Israel's actions. But in doing so,  he completely ignores the ongoing systematic violence and repression by Iran against Baloch, Arabs, Kurds, Azeri and others. Why is an attack on Iran framed as an attack on the Muslim world, yet Iran's brutal treatment of these nations, including summary executions, torture, disappearances, and imprisonment, disregarded? This blatant hypocrisy must not be overlooked.

For centuries, the Baloch, Kurds, Arabs, Azeris, and other oppressed nations under Persian occupation, have faced cultural erasure, state violence and persecution. Their very existence has been under threat, much like the Jews who resisted annihilation and survived genocide. The Baloch, and others, continue to resist attempts of genocide, mass murder and forced assimilation. We are not just fighting for survival, but for freedom. We refuse to be silenced, enslaved, or surrender to tyranny. Our struggle is just as valid as any other struggle for human rights, self-defence and freedom. It's time the world recognises this hypocrisy and called for equal accountability.

According to a recent Reuters report, published on 19 June, Pakistani General Asim Munir told the U.S. President Donald Trump during their meeting in Washington that occupied Balochistan on both the Iranian and Pakistani sides would become a problem if Iran were to collapse. This framing is not only misleading but deeply dishonest. The Americans should not heed to this unscrupulous general.

Balochistan is not the problem, it is the solution and the key to regional stability. The real sources of instability in the region are the Iranian and Pakistani Islamic republics, both of which have long histories of fueling extremism and suppressing occupied nations through violence and state-sponsored terrorism.

Iran has exported terrorism through proxies like the Houthis in Yemen, Assad regime, Iraqi militias and Hezbollah in Lebanon, undermining neighboring countries and threatening regional peace. Pakistan has followed a similar pattern, cultivating terrorist organisations such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed to conduct attacks in Kashmir in India, and using various factions to wage a bloody civil war in Afghanistan for decades. These are not isolated incidents but a well planned policy of using extremism and militancy as tools of foreign policy.

Americans and the West should not forget that the core of the problem is Pakistan because it exported nuclear know-how to Iran, Libya and North Korea. Moreover, both Iran and Pakistan have repeatedly engaged in nuclear brinkmanship, Iran with its uranium proliferation and Pakistan with nuclear arsenals, have been using it for political leverage to secure cushy financial aid, international concessions, and legitimacy for their authoritarian regimes. Their strategy of exporting terrorism and threatening regional powers, including their neighbours, Israel and India. This has only entrenched their rule on the occupied nations like Baloch, Pashtuns, Kurds, Al Ahwaz Arabs, Azeri Turks and others.

In contrast, the Baloch struggle is not rooted in extremism but in a legitimate movement for dignity, justice, and freedom. If the world seeks true peace and tranquility in the Middle East and South Asia, it must stop viewing Balochistan through the lens of Pakistani or Iranian propaganda. The time has come to recognise, who the real threats are and who are the potential partners for peace and stability. Independent Balochistan is the need of the hour.

January 20, 1988, Jalalabad, Afghanistan. My father and I went to pay our last respects to Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan "Bacha Khan."

We went from Kabul to Jalalabad, and then drove to Torkham Border Crossing (Durand Line). The Afghan Nation received him with pride and were honoured that he wished to be buried at Jalalabad.
