The Kremlin has refrained from commenting on the case against Pavel Durov in France. Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Durov, as a French citizen, has all the necessary resources for his legal defense:

"The main thing is that what's happening in France doesn't turn into political persecution. We'll be watching to see what happens next," Peskov said.

He added that Moscow is ready to offer assistance to Durov if necessary.
