Just returned to England after two wonderful weeks in France. Despite visiting dozens of cafés, restaurants, bars, boulangeries and crêperies, we were never once asked if we had any food allergies or intolerances. Incredibly, we all survived.

@AliWalshGF @carlytalbot Of course, it should have been over-stickered. Was it in an independent store specialising in overseas foods? I don't think I've ever visited one where I didn't find non-compliant labelling, sadly.
