@alittlepregnant Obvs if I had been allowed to make a pros and cons chart when he was deciding, I'd have learned then.
My ignorance is entirely his fault.
@alittlepregnant Ever since my spouse moseyed on over when he had completed his standard weekend routine on his standard weekend schedule, only to find that they were sold out of what I wanted, I've gone myself.
I'm a morning person. It's fine.
But how are younger guys still so bad at this?
@Swistle I used a travel can of St@tic Guard to chaperone mine to their authorized destination, but that deprived me of the life-changing horror the reviewer describes. I mean, maybe it was worth it, somehow
@hugh_raine Little kids are famous for complaining their food isn't hot enough ๐
(I used to ensure maximum vegetable consumption by dishing them up early so they were the only thing cool enough to be acceptable)
The comments in which people announce their bonding catchphrase from their youth is cracking me up. I am laughing at other people's inside jokes
PS "I CHALLENGE YOU!"
Oh Buddy. Youโve done more than make them think about it. Youโve bonded them forever in a group text where one of them will share a wedding photo or promotion news and one of the others will say โi donโt know, SMELLS LIKE FAILURE.โ And then theyโll all die laughing.
@gabzoots With very little exploration of the larger world. Super isolated campus, heavily male student body. I'm worried that he's going to turn into a tech bro, basically.
Feeling pretty bummed about youngest's college choice, but I did manage to find a good deal on sheets in his college's colors, so there's that, I guess
@gabzoots Wow, that is very generous of you. We have the luxury of being able to send kids to college for intellectual interests and not just career prep (we do want them to be employable too!) and instead he's going somewhere that will let him code his brains out
