I’m hoping to move my studio soon. It’s currently in my attic, which has no air conditioning or real ventilation. It’s common for it to reach 120°F+ during the summer, so most of my work ends up being done at night. A new room would help a lot.

This week started out awful, but I’m feeling really happy now. Knowing that I can set my own terms feels incredibly liberating. I had gotten used to working for mediocrity that demanded far more than it was worth, so being my own boss is awesome.

You can sometimes hear what I'd call a headphone/earbud mix. People who mix on headphones have a narrower soundstage than with a monitor mix. Earbud mixes all seem super bright and tight.

Vtubers! An “easy” way to make yourself sound better is to get your desk away from the corner. Place your streaming setup more toward the center of the wall to reduce mud, boomy dialogue or vocals, and improve clarity. Corners are pressure zones that trap low-end energy from your voice.

I’m in a difficult position as both an editor and a VTuber fan. I need money because I’m poor as hell, but wanting to know everyone and be friends has had me throwing my services around for free.
