@thepiranha @Photomusicrock Yup. What started out as some keyboards or rhythm guitar has turned into the entire band on tape. Sure the band plays along with it but what do you think you are hearing? Mostly the tracks. Cuz the tracks sound way better. It’s not a live show. It’s an overpriced listening party.

@deesnider I actually sold a set of clubs to Brad Whitford in Louisville KY in the late 1980’s. Tom Hamilton and Brad came into the golf store I was working at part time during college. Tom said a lot of the guys play golf cuz they have afternoons free while touring.

@Photomusicrock It’s amazing how many people do not realize: a) that they are only hearing a tape at a “show” and/or b) will pay huge dollars to see someone not perform but just be there on stage pretending. But this is why these “shows” sell tickets. People don’t know and/or don’t care!

@BLABBERMOUTHNET If you put your politics and views out there you are gonna deal with backlash from one side or the other. Staying neutral means having fans from all sides. It gets old seeing entertainers who use their status to try to influence views and beliefs getting mad when it backfires.

@MelodicRock @VinceTaskunas The backstory to all of that is one of the greatest in rock and roll. Eddie’s engineer cutting and splicing the tape so his solo could be longer. Quincy Jones having Steve re-record because of it being too metal for pop radio. Someone needs to make of movie out of it.
