The Award in #CommunityOrganising is now online! And we are thrilled to have welcomed 14 learners to the first cohort.
Together we will be looking into the origins & theory around community organising & reflecting on how to apply this learning in our different contexts.
As the #COVID restrictions lift slowly and, for some, the light at the end of tunnel is in sight, 80+ members of the #CommunityOrganisers network came together to explore what a roadmap for communities could look like post-pandemic.

5 million adults in the UK do not have access to the internet - The growing alliance of over 100 civil society organisations that support #OperationWifi is calling for the creation of a CitizenSim enabling phone users to donate their unused data.
Across the 3 years of the CO Expansion Programme we trained almost 4000 people in #communityorganising inspiring many more to use the skills they learned to get involved and take action in their communities from developing social supermarkets to taking action to improve housing
