In a little over a year, I lost one-third of my body weight. I cleaned up and simplified my diet, prioritized protein, hit a non-negotiable daily step count (which I've since increased and blow past routinely), and started practicing yoga daily.
The West Wants Out: Alberta Edges Closer to Independence from Canada
Canada’s most conservative province, Alberta, has grown increasingly frustrated with the federal government in Ottawa for decades. Now, the movement for greater autonomy—or even full independence—is gaining serious momentum.
In this Frontlines TPUSA exclusive, reporters @TaylerUSA and @kiansimone44 head west to speak with the leaders of Alberta’s independence movement. They explore what a more independent Alberta could mean for America’s energy and national security.

They think they're better than us...
They complain about us...
They stonewall our initiatives...
They act like they're the victims and get defensive...

There are plenty of reasons to be upset with Danielle Smith right now.
Responding by trying to organize constituencies to force an August AGM to tear her out of the leadership is the dumbest fucking initiative of 2026 though.
A Liberal Prime Minister, elected with just 44% of the vote, condescendingly telling Albertans that 50% is not enough, has got to be the perfect summary of how Ottawa treats Alberta.
In reality, most of the millions of "student" visas handed out over the past 5-10 years were actually just temporary foreign worker visas by another name. If Canadian education is so great, log into a Zoom class like Canadian students and stay in your country.

Mark Carney puts Alberta on notice:
"In these separation issues, it is often advanced that vote for this and it's a free option, vote for this and we will strengthen your our hand in a future negotiation. That is a very dangerous bluff. That is a very dangerous bluff."
🤔
Bloc Quebecois house leader Christine Normandin says Albertans are the only ones who can decide on their future in Canada, just like no one can have a say on Quebec's future except Quebecers.
Adds that federal government should not have any say on vote or the choice of question.
