Boston tried to actively trade JB for the 47th time since they drafted him just for it to not end up going through and wonder why he acts the way he acts ….they don’t appreciate that man
Nic Claxton + Caleb Wilson in Chicago? Interesting. A little lean for a frontcourt, but extremely versatile if Claxton can return to his prime self on defense. Incredible switchability plus Matas Buzelis, Josh Giddey, and potentially Noa Essengue. That's a massive roster.
Miami Heat starting 5 if they resign their free agents:
Davion Mitchell
Norman Powell
Andrew Wiggins
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Bam Adebayo
This isn’t terrible but the bench is so so bad…
Breaking: Free agent guard Ayo Dosunmu intends to sign a five-year, $112 million contract to return to the Minnesota Timberwolves, with a player option in the fifth season, sources tell @ShamsCharania.
Timberwolves made it a major priority to lock in Dosunmu after his tremendous postseason.
Heat president Pat Riley now makes his long-anticipated new landmark acquisition, with Antetokounmpo joining elite Miami pickups such as LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Bosh, Alonzo Mourning and Jimmy Butler over the past 30-plus years. Riley will pair the two-time NBA MVP and 2021 Finals MVP with Bam Adebayo to lead contention in the Eastern Conference.
After informing teams that they were open for business at the NBA draft combine in May, Bucks general manager Jon Horst landed a haul with the Heat’s offer that brings high-level starting/rotation players and young talent, as well as significant draft capital.
Timberwolves free up significant salary with the remaining two years of Randle's deal, giving them more flexibility to retain Ayo Dosunmu and use exceptions. Nets acquire a three-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA forward in Randle into their cap space -- plus a first-rounder. Chicago uses part of its space on a talented athletic center, a position of need, with $30 million in room left.
Im trying to figure out what was the number everyone thinks. the should have offered him. Trae Young isn’t trash, I wonder if people think he should be making $30M or $40M a gear instead of $50M
Everyone is losing their mind over the Trae Young deal and I propose the same question that I always proposed when ppl would do the exact same thing over Bradley Beal’s contracts: who the hell else is Washington gonna give that money to
