@IRGCConscripts 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 It gets even more ironical when the officers affirm that they know that conscription in Iran is mandatory but since the law is incomplete and unclear they have to ask such questions and expel
innocent people
While CBSA interrogates former IRGC conscripts—victims of forced conscription—they repeatedly ask:
“Why did you join the IRGC? Didn’t you know they were terrorists?”
What an absurd question!
First, there was no “joining”—these men were forced by law.
Second, IRGC is Iran's biggest state-funded military organization. How could they have known, decades ago, that Canada would later list the IRGC as a terrorist group?
Meanwhile, just days after the IRGC murdered 176 innocent people on Flight PS752, Prime Minister Trudeau smiled and shook hands with Iran’s Foreign Minister—the man who tried to cover up the crime.
Didn’t the Canadian government know who they were dealing with?
Where is the accountability for them?
Why are only innocent conscripts—men enslaved for menial labor—being punished, while real enablers face no consequences?
Double standards must end.
Labeling IRGC conscripts as willing participants is like blaming a hostage for being captured.

Real IRGC members have money, power, and foreign passports. They travel freely, invest abroad, and face no consequences.
IRGC conscripts, on the other hand, were forced by law into menial labor—and now face interrogations, visa refusals, and shattered lives in Canada.
This is not justice.
This is a system that punishes the powerless while the powerful walk free.
We call on the new government to fix this shameful policy.
Forced conscription is not a crime.

Hello everyone.
This is Yasna. She is 14 years old, and for almost eight years she has been separated from her father and brother.
Her dad and brother came to Canada as refugee claimants after their lives were in danger in Iran. They later became protected persons and applied for their PR cards, hoping to reunite their family. Instead, their application was delayed far beyond normal timelines and eventually refused.
The refusal was based on the fact that her father was conscripted into the Sepah (IRGC) military—something he was forced to do and never wanted. This forced conscription continues to affect his life, Yasna’s life, and their entire family. And many others.
Years of separation. Years of waiting.
Yasna is asking for help, compassion, and justice so she can finally be reunited with her father and brother.

@AdamZivo Thank you for your support . This should be done responsibly! Not like what happened in Immigration Canada that has only increased the suffering of forced innocent conscripts. #conscriptsarenotmemebers
@IRGCConscripts While 700 members of IRGC are living freely in Canada, the unfair immigration system of the Liberals is punishing the victims and protecting those 700 members. Stand with innocent families of IRGC conscripts forced into service. #JusticeForIranianConscripts@MelissaLantsman
@smeurrens It was an incredibly informative episode. Thank you all for shedding light on this important issue and helping raise awareness about the injustice faced by our community. Your support is truly invaluable to us.
