Education Becomes Indoctrination.
When 98% of your peers agree with your very progressive viewpoint, you absolutely have an "Ivory Tower," insulated from other parts of the world. University's money comes through 3rd party payors, via student loans, and .gov taxes and grants, which further dilute the beneficial feedback that customers give in an active market, allowing this self-fulfilling prophesy of academic elites to entrench further, as illustrated so painfully in this chart.
Higher Ed must self-correct, and now, which seems impossible. Otherwise, the correction is coming from the outside.
This kind of Asymmetrical domination, in something not intended to be political, cannot stand.

Does a civilisation have a right to exist?

The answer is no.

A civilisation exists only so long as it has the power, the virtue, and the will to exist.

This is the hard realism of history, the principle Thucydides captured in his History of the Peloponnesian Wars when he wrote that "the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must".

Every civilisation – Eastern or Western – was forged by war, tempered by religion, and stabilised by law. Yet none of the people who lived in those empires imagined that their world could vanish within a single lifetime, since decline always arrives more swiftly than those living through it can comprehend.

The paradox is that we study the past yet remain blind to the present.

Every civilisation believes it is the exception – until it isn't.

Civilisations do not die because they are conquered, they die because they surrender. Strength fades first in memory, then in custom, and finally in the character of a people.

When a people abandon the moral and religious foundations that formed them, when institutions decay, when borders dissolve, when wealth replaces virtue, and when comfort dulls duty, decline follows with astonishing speed – not as a sudden catastrophe, but as the final stage of a long defeat.

The West's achievements are extraordinary, but past greatness guarantees nothing.

Our ancestors built something remarkable, but they cannot save us.

We must save ourselves.

Cities can be remade, but once your civilisation is gone, it's gone forever.

I finally figured out what's wrong with "everything."

It's a system problem. The introduction of Trump into the system(s) broke almost everything, and in multiple ways.

The fake news created a White Supremacist hysteria, which led to the Fine People Hoax and the George Floyd Hoax, which led to massive DEI, which led to massive systemic incompetence in all of our systems at once.

Add wokeness and cancelation and we can't discuss the issue, much less fix it. That's a system problem. The corrective mechanism (free speech) has been removed.

On top of that, the Trump experience has made it clear all of our government systems are corrupt. They probably always were, but as long as we didn't notice, things limped along okay.

Now we notice.

Now we don't accept "the science" we know is corrupt. We don't accept the omnibus bills we know are corrupt. We don't accept the foreign wars that look sketchy. We don't accept elections we can't fully audit. We don't trust the news, for good reason. We don't trust our intel services to not be agents of one party. And we see the justice departments weaponized.

While all that happened Soros found a way to take control of all American systems via funding of non-government entities and integrating them into the American systems.

But at the head of the snake is the fake news and fake science. There is no correcting mechanism.

The X platform is the only counterforce, and that's why the crooks are trying to take it out, and Musk at the same time.

With some people (and pastors) objecting, I want to explain really quick why this week's LIVE FREE episode (and social media) is unashamedly about the United States.

I love my King of Kings more infinitely than any earthly ruler.
And there is an Eternal Kingdom that has infinitely more allegiance from me than any earthly country.

But...

In the Bible, God established 3 institutions for the good of the world:

– The Family
– The church
– The State (governments)

This means that a Christian man should seek to be...

- A family man
- A churchman
- A statesman

This week, we'll celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, and part of being a "statesman" is loving your country.

- A family never gets better unless the father LOVES his family.
- A church never gets better unless people LOVE their church
- A nation cannot get better unless people LOVE their nation

So, I do unapologetically love my country, thank God for the historically unique way Christianity played a role in the founding of our nation, and I'll have a BLAST this week unapologetically and enthusiastically celebrating it and working for its future good... not IN SPITE of the fact that I'm a Christian, but BECAUSE I'm a Christian, who is grateful to God for what He has done in the past and imploring Him to pour out his Spirit in our culture for the good of its future... and then I'm going to walk in this weekend and preach verse by verse through Exodus 3 and make Jesus real famous.

"But seek the welfare of the [nation] where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare."

Clarence Thomas. What a Man! What an American!

It's one thing to hear this as a child, and not being fully able to understand what was on display.
I was nine years old when Clarence Thomas was still a Supreme Court appointee, and this played out on national television.

But watching this clip now at 44 years of age; after a period of hating this man for no other reason except for the race narcissism that had to die within me, I now see Justice Clarence Thomas as a lion of truth, and the ACTUAL hero of these proceedings.

This would eventually become the tawdry template used in Senate SCOTUS appointment hearings whenever an ACTUAL conservative and REAL Constitutionalists were up for confirmation to the highest court in the land.

I've treated Clarence Thomas shamefully over the years, and I repent of that foolishness here and now.

May God bless Justice Clarence Thomas, now and always.
