A 42-year-old man was riding a southbound 5 train shortly before 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday when another man walked up and started an argument with him.
The victim got off at the Wall Street stop, but the suspected followed him while wielding a black sock containing a hard object.

15-year-old Keidrick Grinstead was arraigned Monday, July 31, for the January killing of 51-year-old Kenny Maier. Grinstead was 14-years-old at the time of the shooting but he is being charged as an adult. He is facing multiple charges including murder, possession of a handgun by a minor and attempted theft by unlawful taking or disposition of an auto. Maeir was found shot one block from the Commonwealth Theater Center in Louisville, Kentucky where he worked in maintenance.
