Freedom Passes that expired on 31st March 2026 stopped working from 1st April. A replacement should have arrived, please use your new card. If not received, contact 0300 330 1433 or [email protected]. Lines open Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm (excl bank holidays).
Freedom Pass helpline will be closed over the bank holiday.
We will reopen on Tuesday 7th April at 9am.

@paulapeters2 We wish to clarify that there are no plans to undertake a review of the Freedom Pass at this time. We acknowledge that our earlier response may have caused confusion or concern and apologise for any misunderstanding.
@paulapeters2 Thank you for the message, currently there is no decision as to whether or not the Disabled Persons Freedom Pass will be included in the review. At present, there are no plans for a public consultation, but further information will be shared once the details have been finalised.
The Freedom Pass contact centre will be operating as follows over the festive period:
23 - 24 Dec: 9am to 5pm
25 Dec (Christmas Day): CLOSED
26 Dec (Boxing Day): CLOSED
29 – 31 Dec: 9am to 5pm
1 Jan (New Year’s Day): CLOSED
2 Jan: 9am to 5pm

@ladams888 Good morning. Apologies for the delay in responding and thank you for your patience. At present, we do not have any plans to digitize the Freedom Pass. While this may be considered as part of future development, to clarify, there are currently no plans to implement this change.
