A trainee police officer in Manchester has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and rape. A woman made a 999 call from his car!

Imagine the distress she was in but also the courage it took to call 999 in the middle of it. She must have been fearing for her life.

Think of how he might have been policing women before he was arrested. Other women may need to come forward and @gmpolice should be publicly inviting that.

I’m a gay man and a psychiatrist.
I’ve watched the explosion of rapid-onset gender dysphoria cases, especially in teenage girls.
I’ve seen the desistance data, the comorbidities, the regret, and the sterilizing effects of blockers + cross-sex hormones.
And I have never supported medicalizing children. Not once. Never.
Kids cannot consent to infertility, loss of sexual function, or permanent alteration of healthy bodies.
“Affirmation” is not neutral care — it is an ideological intervention that locks many of them onto a medical pathway most would have grown out of.
Being gay does not require me to pretend that sex is a spectrum or that a distressed 13-year-old girl is actually a boy. It requires the opposite: protecting same-sex attracted and gender-nonconforming kids from a medical fad that pathologizes them.
I will not shut up.

Pakistani government ministers need to understand something - people who criticise the state of Pakistan aren’t the same as vile Pakistani men who gang rape little girls.

I mean - most of us can tell the difference.

Pakistan are demanding to be able to extradite from Britain men who criticise Pakistan in exchange for taking back their child rapists.

This is not an exchange. It’s reducing the right of girls to be free of rape to a bargaining chip and it’s vile.

CONVICTED: Zahwa Salah Mukhtar, 27, died after being assaulted and thrown from a car in Romford, East London, ON 16 August 2025 by Duane Owusu, 36. They had only met a few hours earlier. He has been convicted of her murder.
