In 2016 at Berlin #Ska City #Festival @TheSelecter were just magnificent. In 2wks I'll be back at Huxleys for #Berlin Rumble where Roy Ellis will doubtless dominate.
Once I saw them together, backstage at @FreedomSounds 2023.
I love the opportunites these great festivals give me.

Sadly, The Toughers can't make it this year, but you're in for a double barrel of two great bands to be announced very soon. If you are a lover of #ska & #reggae with #soul, Cologne is the place to be in April.

America's longest-running ska band returns... Bim Skala Bim formed in Boston, MA as a Ska Rock band that was influenced by the bands in England’s Two Tone movement, as well as The Clash, UB40 and Bob Marley.

[Freedom Sounds @FreedomSounds]

When Bim Skala Bim first appeared in 1983, Boston didn’t have much of a ska scene. They worked hard over the years to make sure there was one. Bim Skala Bim has also been a remarkably stable band: All seven of the band’s original members have remained in the picture over the yrs.

The best tunes of the year - in our humble opinion. You will see quite a few of these bands at one of our events next year. What are your personal favourites? What did we miss? Deezer link in the comments.
