Tbe burden is the country that buys Russian S-400s, gets kicked out of the F-35 program, blackmails NATO enlargement, occupies northern Cyprus, threatens Greek islands, and then cries when Greece obtains weapons.

Greece spends above NATO’s 2% target and modernizes with F-35, Rafale, F-16V, FDI, Sea Fire, Aster 30, Patriot, drones, ISR and satellites.

That is what a serious flank state looks like.

Meanwhile Turkey is so “useful” to NATO that NATO had to watch Ankara delay Sweden’s accession for 20 months during Russia’s war in Ukraine.🤡

And let’s talk Patriots.

Greece did not run to NATO crying "give us Patriots, we have no anti-ballistic umbrella.:

Greece already has Patriots.

It deployed a Patriot battery to Saudi Arabia since 2021 to protect critical energy infrastructure, and in 2026 a Greek-operated Patriot intercepted Iranian missiles targeting Saudi refineries.

It moved a Patriot battery north to provide anti-ballistic coverage for large parts of Bulgaria after Sofia requested help.

It deployed Patriots to Karpathos after the Cyprus/Akrotiri threat, adding regional air and missile defence coverage toward Cyprus and NATO assets in the Eastern Mediterranean.

So while Turkish Twitter writes essays about Greece being a “burden,” Greece is literally providing air-defence umbrellas to allies and partners.

Saudi Arabia.
Bulgaria.
Cyprus/Eastern Mediterranean NATO assets.

The real burden is not Greece defending NATO’s flank.

The real burden is Turkey creating crises on the flank, then pretending Greek deterrence is the problem.

Yunanistan Uluslararasi Deniz hukukuna gore Deniz Karasularini 12 mile çikarma hakki var. Cikartirsa ne olur? Ege %90'a yakin onlarin olur. Ama sirf Turkiye ile baris icinde yasamak icin bunu kendi rızasıyla 6 milde tutuyor.

Turkiye Uluslarasi Deniz hukuku soylezmesine taraf degil. Ama Akdeniz ve Karadenizde karasularini 12 mil ilan etmek istiyor. !!! Yunanistan da "bunu yaparsan o zaman ben de Ege'de hakkimi kullanip 12 mil yaparim" diyor. Turkiye de "yapamazsin cunku biz o sözleşmeye taraf degiliz" diyor.

Gercekleri konusunca vay efendim sen Yunanistan' dan tarafmisin yok sen yunan tohumusun. Bla bla bla. Illa kaşınıcaksınız! Sizi uyariyorum Osmanli Turkiye'den daha guclu bir devletlek ittihatcilar da boyle bir maceraya girisip bir yerleri almak icin harekete gectiginde ulkenin %50'ye yakinini kaybettiler. Gecen yuzyil bile boyle bir haydutluga izin vermeyen dunya bu yuzyilda Yunanistandan taraf olur ve Turkiye korkunc bir ucuruma yuvarlanir. Acgozlu olmayin onunuzden yeyin.. TURKEY CLAIMS THE EASTERN MED, THE WORLD WATCHES🚨

Turkey’s latest power play in the Eastern Mediterranean just got exposed again.

While the rest of the region respects the rules, Turkey claims the Aegean, half the Eastern Mediterranean and almost all of Cyprus.
When the law doesn’t suit Ankara, it’s suddenly “void.”

Enough is enough, the UNSC must finally call it what it is, a blatant provocative violation from one of the biggest violators of international law, resolutions and conventions.

Turkey must respect international law or face real isolation and sanctions.
The map doesn’t lie, neither should the world.
