He is… the side chick, so to speak, into the politics of the country… He was chairman of FNB that took away from poor people — their houses, charged them high interest rates, never gave Black people the money to survive, during COVID. FNB was one of the worst banks during COVID, despite government giving them guarantees of 200 billion in total for the banks… FNB did not save Black businesses and Black professionals. They saved white people’s businesses only with that money…

“Capital, which is Rupert and the banks, and the broederbond that continues to control these institutions, today — they’ve realized that Black people are not stupid… Ramaphosa’s days are numbered. Summary/Highlights: 

• Roger was CEO of Avenge Construction company, which was fined billions for colluding, during the 2010 Soccer World Cup. South Africa lost billions due to the corruption here. To this day, CEOs, including Roger Jardine, were never charged. Matter quietly swept under the carpet. Don’t know if he was directly involved in the collusion.

• Roger was involved in Kagiso, which is funded by Johann Rupert. 

• Was involved in Primedia, which caters to a right- of-centre white audience, in terms of SA politics; not pro Black but very much antiblack, very pro-white.

• He was the chairman of First National Bank, which was started and influenced by the Rupert family and the Afrikaners. Rupert family still wield significant control and influence over FNB and some of the other banks in the country. You cannot become the chairman of FNB without the tacit approval of someone like Johann Rupert. To become a chairman of a bank in South Africa, you must have Johan Rupert’s stamp of approval… If it’s FNB. 

• Roger has a very close association with Johann Rupert. 

• When we hear that Jardine has a war chest of a billion rand (for election), we know that Black people in this country don’t have that kind of money… It must be coming from the likes of Johann Rupert and others that have said ok, we will make you our candidate.
