For those with conveniently selective short-term memory, let me remind you.
Since February 24, 2022, Russia has launched over 10,000 missiles at Ukraine of nearly every type it possesses: cruise, ballistic, aeroballistic, anti-ship, tactical, and strategic. On top of that, over 50,000 kamikaze drones, mostly Iranian-provided Shahed-136s..
Dozens of massive strikes targeted power plants, substations, combined heat-and-power facilities. The result: an entire country plunged into freezing darkness.
The winter of 2022–2023 became a national trial by ice and fire. Ukraine had exhausted its old Soviet air defense stocks. The country stood on the brink of total blackout and societal collapse.
Hundreds of civilians were killed in this punitive campaign of “freezing the khokhols to death.”
Nearly all thermal and hydroelectric plants were destroyed. One day, amid countless other war crimes, a Russian missile strike deliberately leveled a children’s cancer hospital (!!!!) in central Kyiv.
And still, every day and every night, missile and drone strikes rain down across Ukraine, killing people by the dozens, burying them beneath the rubble of their own homes, consumed by fire.
How anyone still has the sheer audacity and moral rottenness to open their filthy, festering mouths and talk about how Russia will now deliver "retaliation" to Ukraine -- for the destruction of missile-carrying bombers -- is something I will never be able to comprehend.
Troubling to say the least.
Days after #Aleppo's fall, #Italy Foreign Intelligence Service (AISE) was offering its support to #Assad's regime. Meanwhile, Christian schools were being bombed by #Syria & #Russia aircraft.
#Russia looks to be militarily withdrawing from #Syria — large-scale movements between #Tartus & Hmeymim AB, and multiple heavy transport aircraft are loading up.
A huge loss for #Moscow — and knock-on effects expected for its #Africa operations.
As @Reuters is now reporting, there's been serious concern in US intel circles that Austin Tice may have been killed in #Israel's recent 350+ air campaign in #Syria.
It's why senior US officials were telling #Israel to stop days ago.

Celebrating the fall of the Assad regime in Damascus.
For many who lived under regime control this may have been their first demo, the first time to chant revolutionary songs out loud, the first time not to fear being shot.
Today all of Syria was ALIVE for the first time in more than half a century.
No people bussed in by the regime.
No coercion, and no photos or empty slogans brandished by anyone.
Just seas of people freely celebrating their country under the Independence Flag, chanting SOURIA.
In Daraa we found Muawiyah: the teen who sparked Syria’s revolution with his anti-Assad graffiti. 13 years on he was among rebels who took Damascus. A tortured child detainee, refugee then fighter: his story is a story of Syria, their fates intertwined ➡️ https://t.co/iYb6VvADc1
