The problem here, and thus there's a lack of trust, is that @GeorgeLeeRTE fails to provide the context and explain the people behind the report - namely World Weather Attribution. So I will (and I'm not denying anything, just providing the facts here).

They've been regularly criticised for trying to make headlines before their findings undergo peer review; this leads to journalists frequently to report conclusions without explaining uncertainty (see this as the perfect example, and one of endless amounts).

Hilariously, they come to their conclusions by comparing today's climate against the base of a simulated world without human greenhouse gas emissions at all. This means this hypothetical "counterfactual world" cannot be observed directly,results depend heavily on the choice of climate models, and anything other than what doesn't and cannot exist is bad and a warning sign.

Tellingly WWA are renowned for jumping on major, high-impact events rather than a random sample of weather events. It even admits this. Also, its founder Friederike Otto has said modelling like this is needed to win law suits against fossil fuel companies.

Again, not offering an opinion on climate change and this heat wave (not my area) but journalism is and shock headlines and articles without any of this stated is propaganda as it tries to mislead the reader away from the full story.

THREE U.S. STATES INTRODUCE LEGISLATION CLASSIFYING COVID mRNA INJECTIONS AS BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION

In a historic move, lawmakers in Minnesota, Tennessee, and Arizona have introduced bills that would officially classify COVID-19 mRNA injections as biological weapons of mass destruction.

1. Minnesota Bill HF 3219 – “mRNA Bioweapons Prohibition Act”
Designates mRNA products as weapons of mass destruction and prohibits them.

2. Tennessee Bill SB1949 – “mRNA Bioweapons Prohibition Act”
Classifies mRNA injections as WMDs, bans possession & distribution, with felony penalties.

3. Arizona Bill HB 2974
Amends state law to define modified mRNA products as biological agents/weapons of mass destruction.

These bills would make the manufacture, possession, and distribution of these shots a serious crime — treating them with the same severity as actual bioweapons.

After years of harm, genetic risks, and mandates, states are finally pushing back hard.

The tide is turning. More states must follow.

BREAKING: RTÉ spread disinformation on the death of Ali Sohrabi in Castlerea Prison

Ali Sohrabi, a prisoner on remand, died in Castlerea Prison on Thursday 25 June.

Media including RTÉ, the Irish Examiner, the Irish Independent and Midwest Radio have claimed that Sohrabi was “found dead in his cell.”

These reports are untrue. Sohrabi did not die in his cell. He was not found in his cell.

At 7:30pm on Thursday 25 June Martina Burke called Pat McGrath, RTÉ Western Correspondent, to raise this issue. McGrath answered the phone, then immediately hung up when he heard the purpose of the call.

It is unacceptable that these media outlets can make claims which they know are untrue. It is wrong that the public cannot believe what they read or hear on the national media.

We have had to write on numerous occasions to papers such as the Irish Examiner regarding the disinformation they publish on the case of Enoch Burke.

It is also serious to hear the Minister for Arts and Culture Patrick O’Donovan warn of the dangers of disinformation, yet claim that the only reliable sources of news are outlets such as RTÉ.

We would encourage the public to contact RTÉ and enquire why they are spreading this disinformation and giving a false message to the public.

We would also encourage the public to contact Minister Patrick O’Donovan and ask him what steps he will be taking to address the disinformation being spread by the media.
