Better, Not Less: How AgZen Is Partnering with Corteva and Reframing Precision Spraying
โผ๏ธโผ๏ธโผ๏ธ
Spray volumes are measured in gallons per acre.
That tells us nothing about what matters, though:
How much product actually hits the leaf and gets into the plant?
@AgZen_official wants to change that.
The startup just announced a partnership with @corteva that signals they are being taken seriously by major players in the industry, too.
Their RealCoverage system mounts on the sprayer boom, uses machine vision to measure droplet deposition in real time, and tells operators how to adjust settings as conditions shift.
The goal is not โspray less.โ
The goal is spray better.
More droplets on target means fewer re-sprays, less drift, better efficacy, and higher ROI.
AgZen wants to move the industry toward a more precise measurement of spraying, too -- focusing on the number of droplets that hit the leaf, not water volumes or product rates alone.
That mindset mirrors how precision railroading transformed logistics and created billions in value by measuring what mattered.
Nearly 1 million acres were sprayed with AgZen systems in 2025.
And some of the early usage is notable: Farmers adjusting boom settings based on wind direction at either end of the field to improve deposition in real time.
What might the partnership with Corteva look like? What do future collaborations look like and who could benefit in the value chain? What other things is AgZen working on?

Got my crayons out.
This is what the new field size would look like super imposed on the field at Mosaic.
Yellow is the end zones which would put the new goal posts in the middle of the existing logos
That a ton of space between the field and the stands.
Sure you can do cabanas and beer gardens but that's a different feel
