More great coverage in this week's @champnews.
We will keep you posted on news of Grant Shapps' reply just as soon as we hear from the @MetroMayorSteve's office.
"We are fully committed to continuing to invest sustainably..." David Huck - Chief Operating Officer @PeelPorts . Sustainably?! Let's just ignore that road full of HGVs you want @transportgovuk and @NationalHways to build you. Great letter to editor too. It's all about the port.
We’re around 100 signatures short of 15,000! Thanks to everyone who has signed our updated petition this week.
Please keep sharing... it really works! Have a great weekend and hope you get out and about on Rimrose! 💚 🏃♀️ 🚴🏻♀️ 🐶🐦🌳 #Petition#campaign

Well said @Peter_Dowd in @champnews. Not forgetting the MAJOR role pollution from @PeelPorts ships and HGVs contribute to air quality in South Sefton. @NationalHways and @transportgovuk's answer? Build ANOTHER road and fill it with HGVs. Insane.
So, you know that letter we wrote to the @transportgovuk Minister Trudy Harrison MP asking for their personal views on our situation and for it NOT to be delegated to others to respond? Guess what happened? Read their response here. More to follow...

Some thoughts on the latest developments and the year ahead! If you’d like to get involved in either our campaign or the charity’s work, email [email protected] or message us on social media. Cheers!
This is an example of what can be achieved when enough public/political pressure comes to bear on government. We need to use OUR key arguments and the hypocrisy of the government's policies to defeat this road proposal. It CAN happen and we will be fighting this all the way 💚
Read our letter to Trudy Harrison MP at @transportgovuk whose remit includes the decarbonisation of transport, transport and the environment (covering air quality), and the future of transport, including freight. A perfect fit for us, right?

Another day, another academic confirming that roadbuilding doesn’t work. We must move on from tarmac and traffic jams. There ARE better alternatives.
Your support is vital in bringing about positive change. We don’t say it enough... but THANK YOU 💚✊🌳

This is great news. ANYTHING which takes freight off our roads is positive. BUT it's not the full story. These rail enhancements WILL NOT address the 300% increase in container activity @PeelPorts is seeking. We challenge them to embrace change and to pursue the freight pipeline.
More coverage in our leading business publication @LBNdaily Follow this link for the full article. For clarity, Mole Solutions Ltd was identified via @seftoncouncil's 2020 @ArupUK report. We simply followed this up by approaching @Freightpipeline direct.

*RT* More excellent coverage in @champnews Such positive news, not only for our campaign but for the WHOLE of South Sefton. Some have rightly asked: 'what about non-container HGVs which would still need to service the port?' Good news! We're busy working on that too... 💚✊🌳
Transport | Pioneering underground freight transport technology could provide a zero emissions alternative to the controversial Port of Liverpool access road, according to backers of the system.

In a UK first, on-site 3D reinforced concrete printing is being used by #HS2’s London tunnels contractor, a Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture. It could reduce the amount of concrete used and contribute to reducing carbon by up to 50%. Read more: https://t.co/1C7fmp9XNX
