Roommate: “We need to talk about the rent.”
Gen Z: “What about it?”
Roommate: “You need to start paying more.”
Gen Z: “Why?”
Roommate: “Because you work from home now.”
Gen Z: “And?”
Roommate: “You’re using the apartment as your office eight hours a day.”
Gen Z: “It’s my home too.”
Roommate: “I know. But your work setup has taken over the living room.”
Gen Z looked at the desk sitting beside the couch.
Gen Z: “It’s one desk.”
Roommate: “And your monitor, chair, printer, files, and that giant ring light.”
Gen Z: “The ring light is for my meetings.”
Roommate: “Exactly.”
Gen Z laughed.
Gen Z: “So you don’t want me to pay more rent because I’m home. You want me to pay more because I’ve taken over part of the common area.”
Roommate: “That’s part of it.”
Gen Z: “What’s the other part?”
“Get a job and exercise” isn’t a healthcare plan.
It’s what you say when you’re entitled and rich enough to never think seriously about health insurance and what it would mean to lose it.
On Friday afternoon, a regulator Donald Trump appointed approved a bank Donald Trump's family owns, to issue a coin that makes Donald Trump money, under a law Donald Trump signed.
First time in American history.
Dropped at 4pm on a Friday, because they were counting on you not looking.
Here's what they buried:
The OCC — run by Trump appointee Jonathan Gould — granted World Liberty Trust Co. a national trust bank charter. World Liberty is 38% owned by "an entity affiliated with Donald J. Trump and certain of his family members."
That's not my framing. That's on their website.
"It's just a trust charter, it can't take deposits." Correct. It doesn't need to. That's not the business.
The business is USD1, their stablecoin.
You hand them a dollar. They park it in Treasuries. They keep the interest. And under the GENIUS Act — signed by Trump in July 2025 — they're legally barred from passing that interest to you.
All house money.
Friday's charter lets them cut out their middleman and run issuance, custody, and reserves in-house. Fatter margins. Federal seal. Institutional clients.
Now ask where the dollars come from.
A state-backed Abu Dhabi fund settled a $2 BILLION investment into Binance using USD1. World Liberty told Congress the deal likely would've used foreign currency if USD1 hadn't existed.
Meaning: it was routed through the President's balance sheet on purpose.
As of February, Binance held 87% of every USD1 in existence.
Binance's founder was pardoned. By Donald Trump.
Line it up:
→ He signed the law that built the market
→ He appointed the regulator
→ The regulator approved his family's bank
→ The bank prints the coin that pays him
→ A foreign government pumped $2B into it
→ It sits on an exchange whose founder he pardoned
→ The bank's board is chaired by the son of his Middle East envoy
He disclosed $57.4 million from World Liberty on one filing.
Elizabeth Warren: the first president in history to approve, operate, and supervise his own bank.
CREW: the most egregious example yet of the President's businesses profiting off his government job.
Democrats introduced the Ending Presidential Corruption in Banking Act the same day. It bans regulators from chartering banks owned by the president. It will not pass.
Watch who votes against it anyway.
The OCC says career staff handled the review and everyone met their ethical obligations. Fine. Maybe every signature was clean.
That IS the story.
Nobody has to break a rule when you own the people who write them.
They did it on a Friday because Friday is where things go to die quietly.
Don't let it.
Treasury announced this week that it would destroy the government’s registry of shell-company ownership. This is an anti-corruption database that Treasury is by law required to maintain.
Even worse, the Trump administration will also destroy all the data it has already collected, so that no future presidential administration or local police department can use it, either.
“It’s like Trump ordering the deletion of the FBI’s entire fingerprint database"
They’re effectively salting the earth, so that sex traffickers, scam artists, drug lords, money-launderers, and tax cheats can roam free not only through the end of Trump’s time in office but long after he’s out, too.
BREAKING: Trump commits his most pro-corruption crime yet by PERMANENTLY deleting the database that lists the "beneficial owners" of U.S. legal entities — meaning criminals can now easily hide behind shell companies.
"It's like Trump ordering the deletion of the FBI's fingerprint database," stated former Congressman Tom Malinowski.
We may as well have elected Al Capone to be President...
"I helped pass this law in 2020. It's purpose is to prevent drug traffickers, Russian & Chinese kleptocrats, and other international criminals from setting up anonymously owned companies to hide their money in the US. Trump's Treasury Dept. is doing this to help criminals," Malinowski wrote on X in response to the announcement from the Treasury Department.
In their post, Treasury touted the decision by their Financial Crimes Enforcement Network to "permanently" remove the requirement that entities report "beneficial ownership information." Worse still, FinCEN also stated that they "will delete previously reported information by U.S. persons from the beneficial ownership information database."
The White House didn't even bother to construct a plausible explanation for the world-shaking decision, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent instead offering up some platitudes about "common sense" and cutting "red tape."
But the motivation is painfully transparent. This administration is stuffed to the gills with white collar criminals. They're lining their pockets with sweetheart deals, running crypto scams, and constructing elaborate financial architectures for hiding and laundering money. This new decision makes it far more difficult for upstanding law enforcement agents to detect and prosecute these wrongdoings.
"'Beneficial ownership information'" is just a record of who actually owns a company. That's all that was being reported here, so that we didn't have LLCs in Delaware laundering millions of dollars through the US and into offshore banks on behalf of totally anonymous people," wrote Malinowski.
"Treasury deleting the beneficial ownership info it already gathered is utterly crazy. This database was not public -- it was just for law enforcement to use in investigating crimes. It's like Trump ordering the deletion of the FBI's fingerprint database," he continued.
"Why is the Trump administration doing this? I don't know. But it's certainly good news for rich Russians who want to buy his condos, or Gulf royals buying his fake crypto. The true identities of people he's done business with, if registered with Treasury, will now be deleted," he went on.
This particular point is crucial. Trump has been taking bribes out in the open (look no further than his Qatari jet) so one can only imagine what he and his family are raking in from foreign governments behind closed doors. By deleting this database, he makes it much easier for America's adversaries to funnel money to him and his cronies. This isn't just criminal, it's downright treasonous.
"Last but not least, this is totally illegal!" added Malinowski. "Congress passed a law -- with strong Republican support BTW -- saying Treasury had to collect and keep beneficial ownership info. The Trump administration cannot say 'we're just not going to do it.'"
"This will find its way to court. It will be struck down. But the deletion of data currently available to law enforcement may be irreversible," he concluded. "It's one of the most lawless and corrupt things this administration has done, and that's saying a lot."
The illegality would be relevant under any other President, but with Republican control of Congress we can safely presume no action will be taken until after the midterms when Democrats obtain subpoena power. And since we likely can't undo the database deletion, we need to investigate and prosecute everyone who was involved in it.
Please ❤️ and share to demand prosecutions!
BASH: How do you prepare for the next pandemic? That's part of your job now
RFK Jr: We did almost everything wrong
BASH: But what about now?
RFK Jr: We need to protect our constitutional rights
BASH: What does that mean?
RFK Jr: During covid we completely dismantled our rights
BASH: But I'm asking what *to* do during a public health crisis
RFK Jr: You were part of the problem
BASH: You want to sit here and attack me?
There are endless videos of Tristan & Andrew Tate talking about beating, choking, raping, & controlling women.
And yet @VP follows them.
What is wrong with you @JDVance
The Homeland Security Secretary threatened to jail state election officials today for defying a demand that courts have already struck down 11 times.
Read that again.
This is what the early stages of a banana republic look like. Do not normalize this.
to hear Trump tell it, American elections were completely corrupted while he was president and he was helpless to stop it, then they were cleaned up by Biden ahead of Trump's victory in 2024, and now that Trump is president again they are once again becoming third world-caliber
He’s talking about rape.
He’s laughing and joking and winking about women being prepared to be RAPED.
In a sane fucking world, this scumbag wouldn’t have a job today.
🚨BREAKING: The drained Reflecting Pool did not reveal any slices. Instead, tire marks were visible, obvious damage from Trump’s vanity drive in a fleet of 10-ton vehicles for no reason at all. He ruined his own project, then lied and blamed the citizens who paid for it.
So Donald Trump's primetime address is about foreign infiltration in the 2020 election.
Funny... he was the president in 2020. If foreign infiltration happened on his watch, that's an admission of his own failure.
