We hope everyone is having a WO-nderful spring break. Part of our Strategic Plan was to create worldwide relationships through Global Initiatives. This week we have been able to send our first group of students and chaperones to Ensemble Scolaire Catholique d’Yssingeaux in Yssingeaux, France.

Our group has been busy touring local towns, shopping at local markets to make Raclette, a traditional French melted cheese dish, and spending time in class with our hosts at ESCY. Make sure to check back later this week for more updates on their trip!

We recently welcomed a group of 26 French exchange students & chaperones from our sister school in Yssingeaux, France and got to show them what WO was all about! We are excited to send a group of our own students to visit their new friends in France in the Spring of '24.

They got to experience snow, sand, ships, strikes, skating, and scaries with their @westottawahs hosts!
