BREAKING:

The EU today introduced the new requirement for all new cars registered in Europe to have installed cameras filming the driver’s face.

The system is called Advanced Driver Distraction Warning, ADDW, and is part of the EU’s General Safety Regulation.

The camera tracks the driver’s gaze, head movements and attention.

According to the regulations, the system must be active from 20 kilometers per hour. At lower speeds, it should be able to warn if the driver looks away for too long, while the requirements become stricter at higher speeds.

The requirement does not yet mean any obligation to record the driver for the authorities.

Critics warn that the technology could pave the way for more extensive monitoring and recording in the car once the cameras, sensors and software are installed.

Ich habe heute versucht, die Chatkontrolle zu stoppen.

Am Wochenende mussten Sibylle Berg und ich Parlamentspräsidentin Metsola schriftlich mitteilen, dass das Durchprügeln der Chatkontrolle im Eilverfahren leider gegen die Geschäftsordnung des EU-Parlaments verstößt. Während Metsola der interessierten Presse daraufhin (fälschlicherweise) mitteilte, dass das schon alles seine Richtigkeit habe, warten wir immer noch auf ihre Antwort.

Deshalb wollte ich es ihr heute bei der Eröffnungssitzung in Straßburg noch einmal erklären. Und musste erstaunt feststellen, dass die Präsidentin doch Regeln kennt: Exakt nach 60 Sekunden hat sie mir das Mikrophon abgestellt. (regelkonform, wird aber selten gemacht)

Dabei hätte ich noch einiges zu sagen gehabt: "Frau Präsidentin, Sie wachen nach Artikel 22 über dieses Regelwerk (mit der ausgedruckten Geschäftsordnung wedelnd) - erklären Sie den Eilantrag für unzulässig. Wir sind hier schließlich nicht auf Malta! Die aktuelle Fassung der Geschäftsordnung überreiche ich Ihnen gerne persönlich. In der MEP-Bar."

Wie es nun weitergeht? Morgen wird über das Eilverfahren abgestimmt, obwohl diese Abstimmung gar nicht stattfinden dürfte. Wenn der Antrag erfolgreich ist, kommt die Chatkontrolle Donnerstagmittag zur Abstimmung ins Plenum. Um sie noch zu stoppen, müssten 361 Abgeordnete - eine qualifizierte Mehrheit - DAGEGEN stimmen.
Die schlechte Nachricht: Donnerstag ist der letzte Tag vor der Sommerpause und viele MEPs dürften bereits auf dem Weg in den Urlaub sein. Ein Schelm, wer Böses denkt bei dieser Terminierung... Smiley!

A 19-year-old hacker used VPNs, tunneling tools, and rotated IPs across 3 countries. The FBI still caught him. Here's the Windows feature that made it possible and why it should concern everyone.

Peter Stokes, an alleged member of Scattered Spider (the group behind $100M+ in ransomware extortion), was arrested at Helsinki Airport this April. Court documents revealed a key piece of evidence: Microsoft's GDID.

What is a GDID?
GDID = Global Device Identifier. It's a unique code baked into every Windows installation. Microsoft uses it for telemetry, crash reports, feature usage, and license verification (it's why swapping your CPU can break your Windows activation).

What Microsoft gave the FBI:
→ Web activity with timestamps
→ Gaming history
→ IP addresses used over time
→ Tool usage (including Ngrok, a tunneling app)
→ Azure account activity

All tied to one persistent device fingerprint. Even though the VPN masked his IP, it didn't affect the GDID.

How they connected the dots:
Every time Stokes logged in to Snapchat, Apple, or Facebook from a new IP address, the GDID was there too. Investigators matched timestamps across platforms and countries: Tallinn, New York, Thailand, Germany. Different IPs. Same machine. Same person.

Microsoft had already identified him in October 2024 and filed a criminal referral. He was still 17. So they waited till He turned 18. Then they moved.

Yes, Stokes is accused of serious crimes. But the GDID data exists on every Windows machine, including yours. The infrastructure that handed his entire digital life to the FBI is the same infrastructure running on your laptop right now.

The unanswered questions:
- There's no public policy on when Microsoft shares GDID data

- No known opt-out mechanism

- No transparency report specifically covering GDID disclosures

- What other criminal referrals has Microsoft quietly filed?

A French study in PLOS Medicine examined the impact of emulsifiers (food additives used to improve texture and extend shelf life) on cancer risk.

Researchers analyzed data from 92,000 adults over nearly 7 years and found that certain emulsifiers significantly increased cancer risk:

Mono & diglycerides of fatty acids (E471)—found in processed baked goods, margarine, and ice cream—were linked to:
15% higher risk of overall cancer
24% higher risk of breast cancer
46% higher risk of prostate cancer

Carrageenan (E407 & E407a)—a thickening agent in dairy alternatives, deli meats, and plant-based products—was linked to:
32% higher risk of breast cancer.

Cancer is complex and multifactorial, but one thing is certain: the food we eat plays a massive role in shaping our long-term health. Cutting out ultra-processed foods and focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods is one of the most powerful steps you can take to reduce disease risk.

En La Guaira, el pueblo rescata vidas con sus propias manos

La Guaira, Venezuela. Estoy viendo una escena que conmueve profundamente. En medio de la emergencia, el pueblo se ha convertido en la primera respuesta. Sin ambulancias, sin camillas, sin equipos suficientes y sin las condiciones mínimas para atender una situación de esta magnitud, ciudadanos se unen para rescatar personas con vida con sus propias manos.

En el lugar se observa a hombres y vecinos trabajando juntos, rodeando una motocicleta y tratando de trasladar a una persona rescatada. No hay un vehículo de emergencia adecuado. No hay una ambulancia esperando. Lo que hay es voluntad, desesperación, solidaridad y un pueblo que se niega a quedarse inmóvil mientras una vida está en peligro.

La persona rescatada es trasladada en moto, no porque sea lo correcto, sino porque es lo único disponible en ese momento. Esa imagen duele, porque nadie debería ser movilizado así después de una emergencia. Pero también conmueve, porque demuestra que, cuando fallan los recursos, el pueblo venezolano responde con valentía.

Lo que ocurre en La Guaira muestra dos realidades: por un lado, la fuerza de una comunidad que actúa con humanidad y coraje; por otro, la ausencia de un sistema de emergencia capaz de garantizar ambulancias, atención prehospitalaria y traslado seguro para las personas afectadas.

Estos ciudadanos no esperaron. No se quedaron mirando. Usaron sus manos, su fuerza y su corazón para ayudar. En medio del caos, hicieron lo que pudieron para salvar vidas.

Esta escena deja una pregunta inevitable: ¿cómo es posible que una persona rescatada tenga que ser trasladada en motocicleta porque no hay una ambulancia disponible?

Hoy, en La Guaira, el pueblo vuelve a demostrar que la solidaridad venezolana sigue viva. Con sus propias manos, con lo poco que tiene y con una valentía inmensa, la gente sale al frente para proteger la vida de otros.

Parents, we must stay vigilant.

​A deeply concerning video has surfaced showing Ty'Heim Clark, widely known as "The Childcare Whisperer," wearing a dress and high heels while telling a group of young children that their parents cannot be trusted.

​This is a direct, open attempt to drive a wedge between parents and their children. When prominent industry figures look kids in the eye and tell them to distrust the very people God gave to protect and guide them, it crosses a dangerous line. This is a deliberate effort to separate children from the authority and protection of their parents.

​Scripture clearly establishes that parents—not outside influencers—are responsible for instructing and shielding their children. Anyone trying to break that bond is an immediate red flag.

​We cannot afford to look the other way while people try to groom the next generation into distrusting their own families. You are the first line of defense for your household.

Dit was een goed voorbeeld van een shedding event.

Aangezien de Janssen prik net als Astra een genetische gemodificeerd Adenovirus betreft is het wel degelijk mogelijk.

Natuurlijk wordt er dan gesteld dat dit GMO virus replication incompetent is en zich dus niet kan vermenigvuldigen.
