Things I love about Black women that have nothing to do with strength:
We are CREATIVE. No one is more imaginative than us. Our creativity fuels the world. The ideas we generate, our ability to put pieces together, the content we make. We set the trends, baby.
“the BILLIONAIRES will never find happiness from their money. the COLONIZERS will never find fullfilment from the land and lives they steal. the FACISTS will never find meaning from their conformity not in this lifetime and eternity..”
For all my Black in tech AI influencers, how does a “seat at the table” fix the permanent racial bias baked into LLMs and business models that drive these outcomes?
my grandma has been a widow since 1985 and lived in her big house until she was like 80, and then everyone was like “you should move in with one of us, you shouldn’t be all by yourself in this house.” so she reluctantly said yes, sold the house, and moved in with my aunt. she hated living in someone else’s house so much that she moved back out and got an apartment and lived alone until my other aunt renovated the entire bottom floor of her house to give her a private suite complete with a walk in closet and a kitchenette, and only then did she give in and move. she is 99 years old and this year they tried to switch her antique canopy bed out for a hospital bed “to make her life easier” and she made them remove it and put her bed back. i love her. she’s perfect and i will become her one day.
Fans lucky and/or rich enough to get into Madison Square Garden will be subject to biometric surveillance. If they're on one of many enemies' lists, patrons could be followed throughout the arena -- including in and out of the bathroom, as our @WIRED investigation showed.
Africa’s ruling class isn’t a fully independent bourgeoisie, they’re intermediaries.
They manage extraction on behalf of foreign capital in exchange for personal accumulation
